i really do hope we get a class 700 dlc added in the near future, would add so much to the BML & SEHS

 

perhaps as a double loco pack with the ICE-T, I would have proposed a triple that could be split into single like RHTT pack but now the Acela is coming I don’t see that happening as much.

 

One thing is for certain: with both Riesa-Dresden and [REDACTED] there are now multiple opportunities for the ICE-T. It would be especially great on the latter.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the fourth "announced" route, even obliquely.

 

I thought there were five "announced" routes.

I didn't know ICE-T ran on [REDACTED], I would've thought it was in the wrong era.

 

Hehe, this speculation game is sure more entertaining than chasing bugs in TSW. Why not making it a contest? The fastest 3 bullseye hits get a free route, loco, pink headphone or bird cage ...... whatever.

Or the other way around: Who redacted leakage posts fastest (JD being the jedi master here).

 

I wasn't counting ["REDACTED"] as it was leaked long before this.

 

We are also getting the Stratford on Avon and Midland Junction from Blisworth and Olney to Banbury Merton Street and Stratford for a March release...

 

You're right but if the Santa Fe F7 exists on Cajon Pass as it is then I believe anything is possible.

Never understood the furore over leaks and spoilers. It’s not like no one will tune in to find out more detail is it?

 

What it has done (an own goal for whoever fluffed up at DTG) is discourage me from spending further money in the sale but keep my Steam funds for the far more interesting items forthcoming, of which at least three are likely to be Day One purchases.

Of course what we won't know until the official stream and maybe not even then, is what the release timescale for this new content may be. Some might be months off yet or in early development, or it could all come out between now and Easter.

Oh well, a few more Steam Gift Cards to sneak past the wife however it rolls.

 

When will we learn of the British route Just Trains have been working on too. Not seen anyone mention this. Has it just been forgotten by folk or have Just Trains stopped making a route for TSW?

 

They need a lot of time, for the first content, as they need to learn everything. When they are more familiar with the programs, they will be faster.

There's 5 total routes. Us route, tsg German route, skyhook uk route which we know are coming.

 

Five routes discussed in the stream, but only four routes newly announced since I don't count the TSG route:

• US route
• Skyhook UK route
• GER route
• Second UK route

 

Tramsim console edition is a timestamp no one seems to be talking about, looking forward to seeing the details of that

Could this just be me or will they annoce what the secound uk route code is (not talking about the skyhook, rivet, or expansion pack). I hope for the secound uk route for this year (if they're announcing their making one) that it's not modern as we barely have any routes before the 2000s.

 

It's not modern. Still heavy work in progress. There's also going to be a brand new German route

 

I presume DTG is publishing the existing Tramsim game on console instead of the game's PC publisher.

More than the route code, the stream will have a full announcement of the second route.

 

Joking aside, I would absolutely love something from DTG similar to Train Life, insomuch as a reduced scale of an area that contained many routes. TL had the right idea, but a train sim it is not - its very much in the game side of the things. Its fun for a while, but realism is not one of its fortés

A scaled down UK, or maybe even a section of the UK, scaled down but still having branch lines and main routes would be very tasty if existing train/model assets were used

In the grand scheme of things, does it really matter? People are talking about it, and that's good for DTG, and good for the community as it generally evokes positive conversations (less the usual suspects) between members

 

They are still working on a new route. And it's not part of the leaks

 

All I know is that the US content is coming out this month. Niddertalbahn is coming soon. And the other routes are still wip and require a lot more work

 

I’m really excited for the future content. I’m hoping Joe is making the timetable for the US route.

 

Don't understand why the US route is [removed JD - Surprise!] is very close.

 

There's a lot to route building and deadlines to meet. Number of stations, scenery complexity, etc affect how much they can build. Trenton to pa is an additional 30ish miles to build with every single station and scenery asset in between.

But the amount of edits on this post suggest something nuts is coming !

 

It seems that the long road to look forward to will have to wait until September and October this year.

 

There are still a few days to come before all the expected answers, all unnecessary caution.

 

So honestly guys, you really can't look into the forum anymore because everything seems to have been leaked before. It's a pity that JD didn't always manage to delete everything fast enough, but you have to treat him to his weekend. So I'm looking forward to some great screenshots from [removed - JD - surprise!] on Sunday.

 

Leaking stuff is DTG's MO it seems. [Removed - JD - surprise!], at least the acela can go there as well for those that will play it.

It feels like a rinse repeat cycle with these routes. Get hyped about it, speculate about the routes, wait for the inevitable leak, get hyped about the preview. Then after the preview, point out issues, buy it anyways and still point out issues again and again.

Also I never seen game companies edit leaked content and try to hide something that has already been revealed that would be releasing soon anyways and would be announced literally the next day. The company should do a better job of not leaking things. DTG, get your house in order

 

I have. Honestly DTG is being more sensible than most in allowing discussion of the leaked routes as long as we don't explicitly say what they are.

I wasn’t invoking the rights and wrongs of a leak, just the general sense it gives off having so many.

though I strongly can’t imagine it being great as every games company would encourage it…. And they don’t.

 

My guess is they still don't have the [removed - JD - surprise!] license, so you'd be missing all the local commuter services [removed - JD - Surprise!]

Hopefully one day they'll get the license, and we'll get an extension to [removed - JD - surprise].

 

They are human also so leaking can happen, but surely a system would be in place after multiple leaks to try to stop it from happening again and again

 

It is hardly a big deal, whether or not it was intentional it is leading to discussion, intrigue and some excitement, which for DTG is a good thing.

No one has died!

 

All of which could have just still happened regardless of the leak. There still would have been discussing’s after Sunday Stream, the same way they will likely increase and more will refer to the new content by name. So it’s not really a supportive argument for such an occurrence.

 

We now know there are a few new routes to be announced. I have gone from "maybe watching the stream" to definately.
