17 intermediate stops for NJTs NEC line, per wiki. The line also would have at least the following Amtrak trains. -Northeast Regional -Silver Star/Silver Meteor -Keystone Service -Vermonter -Caroliner -Acela The Keystone Service would need the Metroliner Cab car to be accurate, the Silver Star and Meteor would need Viewliners to be correct as well.
Also the Cardinal, Crescent, Pennsylvanian, and possibly the Palmetto. My guess is that, you know, if the route was to be NEC-NT, then these long distance trains would be represented as the Lake Shore Limited is in NEC-BP, that is to say, with no Viewliner equipment. I would take that as opposed to having no representation of these trains at all in the timetable. What's that you say? Keystone services would require the use of a cab car? Very interesting...
It's a very busy timetable, one of the busiest sections of the NEC. It is roughly 58 miles from NY Penn Station to Trenton, NJ.
On NEC Trenton to NY Penn ALP-45DP, services must end at Rahway NJCL Raritan Valley Line Newark Penn Station Track 5 Southbound NB Track 1 start. M&E MoBo Lines Secaucus The last ALP-45DP trip from NYP is a 10:48 pm RVL train to High Bridge. Arrow III to Trenton ALP-46 Trenton NEC Line Morris & Essex Montclair Boonton Line Secaucus Junction NJCL to Rahway. 15:25 New Brunswick to NYC is Express
I wonder if they going to add the full access of terminal for 34th street Penn Station?, cause there are lots of trains going in and out of 34th Penn Station especially with the Amtrak and NJ Transit sharing the same hub and space As you can see from this video
I think we will get the Acela in around February 14 and the US Route either 21 or 28th of February. Speculating on my part
it could go faster! February has even more releases in store I'm not going to reveal anything but it's 3 releases and 2 route upgrades to TOD4
What is the other Route upgrade? I know the other three routes and the 1 Route upgrade that is coming but what is the other Route upgrade
To be transparent, the us enhancement pack isn't really something to look forward to. Just reskins for one locomotive and substitutes for those wondering. Don't know if this will get taken down but just saying....
...if a former TSW2 route deserves a TOD4 upgrade then definitely Sherman Hill and it's also predestined for the enhancement pack. The 3D clouds with their the play of light and shadows greatly enhance the whole scenery, like on Cayon Pass!
I wonder if we do get a NJT Penn to Trenton would they do like the did with the BML and substitute services if it doesn’t come with RailCar: Arrow III Railcars and Cab Car Coaches Comet with the ALP-46
Now we can officially confirm that the new US route is indeed NEC: New York to Trenton, with Amtrak and NJT with an ALP46, Bi-Levels and the Metroliner Cab Car.
Yes we can. Here’s what I think we can look at getting as far as services NJT 38 north jersey coast 3-bay head-26 long branch -9 south amboy 55- Morris Essex lines 21-Montclair 8-ratitan 96-NEC 47trenton-14 jersey avenue-1 Princeton 1 New Brunswick 27 Rahway 37- Amtrak -15 northeast regional -11 Acela-11 keystone Total 255 x2=510 playable services
I wonder if the LIRR would layer in penn station like they did with the BML with southeastern trains in Victoria
Should be the busiest US route by far, I hope Newark Broad street is included so we can drive some Morris Essex services
me 2 just can't wait, i wonder how much of the terminal we can explore, also how good are the sound and audio for each of the train, either way can't wait, pre-order one we know when which i believe it will be on next week roadmap
Wonder if we will see PATH AI traffic into Newark. That would be nice to add action. Just looked it up, this route will be around 70 miles long. It is 68.2 NY Penn to Trenton Penn. It is a complete route as far as NJT is concerned.
This was from my post on December This is what I would like to see for the next US route. I think it can be a compromised of both passenger and freight if done correctly. With the add on of the Loco (acela) two weeks after the route comes out. I highlighted the parts that would like to make it on this route. If you compare it to the SEHS this route is still is shorter. Would love to get it all the way to philadelphia but I''ll take this especially if it adds more branches. I can dream I guess
That is great news. I assume we will be able to do complete back and forth runs with the NJT trains then? Also really excited for the Amtrak Cab car. It was something I have always found interesting in the old TSW2020 NEC route, but never got that route.
Sounds more like a 187 than the 187 :p Im also quite excited for this route, even if usa routes are my least favourite out of the big three countrys in game. But with a busy timetable and the european style electric operation, it might shift my view on US Routes
NJT does have a yard across the river from Trenton in Morrisville. Hopefully its included in the route.
I wonder how the terminal going to look like, especially with the updated Penn station along with Trenton Transit Center?
