I know the 47 in NTP. Is slightly different from the loco in WSR, but are there any plans to revisit the WSR 47, with the view to improving the horn, as the NTP one sounds much more authentic?
It is slightly different. Obviously the livery, but also the NTP 47 has no headlight since it pre-dates when 47s had headlights. Also the horn seems like it got new sounds. There probably is more different but I haven’t noticed anymore than that so far.
The horn to me sounds like the same intended sound. Recently there seems a marked improvement since the 33 release in the audio department. Pretty sure if WSR was released now and Ntp last summer, then the horn sounds would be reversed.
The low horn sounds like it was revamped. The one you hear when you press n. I don’t know what you press to get it for PS4.
Ps4 either have to do it manually on dashboard or plug in a keyboard. Wsr tones sound a bit more synthesized. The recent locos, not available on consoles yet, sound more genuine.
I think I remember from the stream the cab is different. Headlight not on the left of the dash, also the big telephone thing (sure it has a proper name) also is not there on the Manc-Leeds 47
Will be slight differences im sure. Going purely from the type of sound both 47s have the same horn. Its just that the ntp one is better in the game than the wsr one. Ie train sim standard sounds compared to Modded AP ones on tsx.
