With news this evening the upcoming Peak Forest route will have a solid walkable section to explore, I was wondering which existing routes have walkable areas worth visiting?

I've heard people say there are secret areas to be found, especially in Rivet routes, but the only significant one I've found is the signal box on the Isle of Wight line.

Which others do people know about?

Arosa Line has the lake at the top which you can fully walk round.

Edinburgh - Glasgow, you can leave the station by the road ramp to a view point on the bridge above

I think these walking bits are interesting, I do think they should be populated and have more than a collectible

Meissen is one of the nicest places to walk around in TSW.
Working traffic Lights, a nicely detailed city and you can walk a short trail from the footbridge at meißen altstadt up to a viewing point above the River. :)

On WCL you can walk down from the station to the beach at St. Ives. Though I wouldn´t know if it is modeled correctly since I´ve never been to that place. Some in-the-know say the famous hotel near there ain´t what it is in real life ...
On DRA you can go down the bridges between Dresden Neustadt and Dresden-Mitte, even have a "swim" in the river. You get soft locked, though ...
On MSB you can have a walk through part of Lohr coming from the branch line ... But of course, getting soft locked when you want to come back to the main line ...

That´s what pops to my mind right now.

I won´t post pictures for not wanting to spoil the surprise.

Main Spessart Bahn has a diesel branch line with some passenger stations on it, which isn’t used in the timetable at all unless you have the shunter loco DLC for the route. Same with a branch line and some sidings in the middle of the route. There’s also a detailed lake somewhere near the Aschaffenburg area.

Ruhr-Sieg Nord has some explorable areas, although I haven’t visited them myself yet. And there’s the amazing signal box that can be unlocked through the mastery feature, of course.

For (nearly) all of these locations, I would recommend looking at articles and videos for the collectibles on the respective routes. That’s always a great way to find out where these areas actually are to be found.

Thanks everyone! Some good tips and lots of exploring to do!

Wow. That is very off-piste.

That's a good one. When I first got the route, I was curious about all that unexplored track. I ended up creating a scenario with a diesel passenger train so I could ride the branch line. I've not explored the middle branch line or the lake yet.
