Just out of interest, will you be buying the UP Heritage pack? yes No and why? for me it’s a no as I hardly play Sherman hill so a £10 livery pack is too steep, plus there’s some good versions on creators club (yes yes I know they ain’t the best in quality), I’m just interested in hearing if others will buy it and why
No, at least not till a sale. -6 skins (Which could be found easily on the CC) -Only 6 scenarios. -No new timetable content. -No improvements to the SD70ACe. -No new rolling stock. -Steep price. Only positive is I can use the skins for DTGs screenshot contests.
No. There isn't a lot of gameplay value for me, maybe if the external views were better I might be tempted, but as it stands, nah.
I will wait for reviews. For that price, those scenarios better be amazing, and not some "drive this train from here to there". If they were created with the so-called "Scenario Editor", then they're not worth the price.
No, until sale. ($15 isn't worth it) While it's clear this pack is meant to be a filler for more scenarios, even if it's just 6 of them, it doesn't make much of a difference for timetable mode if it's subbing in 6 unique ACes out of over 100 or so that's already on this route alone. And without Track 3, there really is no point for this DLC to begin with.
I’ll see what Sherman Hill is like after the updates but this pack is not high up on my wanted list. If Sherman Hill looks more playable on PS5 with the new lighting improving the suspect scenery then I’ll consider getting it because the liveries do all look great. It will have to be in a sale though, like most of my purchases, as this has far too little gameplay content to buy at full price.
Not unless switching activities are included -- and I do mean that in the plural! Driving a different livery on the same old activities just doesn't excite me at all.
I believe there is one scenario where you move the units into the Cheyenne roundhouse but that's it. Think the rest are mainline runs.
Buy it or not, it depends on my local regional pricing. And btw I'm on Epic version, which seem sold any recent DLC at a lower price than Steam store. If it's cheap enough, I'll buy it. It's been a quite long time since i spend any money on TSW anyway.
Yes i also believe all of 6 UP Heritage Fleet are available on CC but they're not have correct number board (or simply have empty black number board). Which is not good enough for me as a nitpicker player/train enthusiast. Hahaha cheers.
I would probably but I’m 99% more inclined to wait for a sale on it if I do, American Freight isn’t always my go to and if I want to use the liveries I’ve seen many good quality ones on CC
I'm gonna get it in a sale, i think. The repaints look very nice, but the price is too high for me. I don't play scenarios, so if it doesn't add to the timetable, there's little value to me.
