Having played Bakerloo line a lot recently, some things have come to my attention:
    • No stop markers
    • Severe platform clipping
    • Unrealistic sounds
    • Unrealistic physics
    • Piccadilly Circus looks ridiculous
    • Elephant and castle sidings not in use for some reason
If another London Underground route is made in the future, which I hope it is, these are things which must be avoided. It takes away the immersion from the experience and makes it feel very artificial

Yes I agree, I would like some stop markers (although I used the cameras as the markers), and the platform clipping is annoying at times, but the sounds seem alright to me, and while I don't frequently use the Bakerloo Line in real life, they have captured it well.

Also the physics seem alright to me, the braking force was actually nerfed a while ago to make it more prototypical. But the wheelslip underground during the rainy season is annoying.

    What's wrong with Piccadilly Circus?

I do wish Elephant and Castle sidings were in use, but I think the issue is that since the front door is unusable, we wouldn't be able to do much in the siding (unless we spawn in the train, but we can use the siding in scenario planner).

Oh I see they are too far apart. Ok I understand now.

Agree about the unrealistic sounds, it's as if you are travelling outside on welded track, no sense of being underground whatsoever! There is a mod I have installed (PC only) which makes it a little better but still doesn't feel like you are travelling on the LU

Oh. Oh well. I still like the sounds, especially at Waterloo. Although, in my experience, the loudest stock on the underground runs on the Northern and Jubilee Lines (1995 and 1996 stock).

At Kilburn Park, the route maps and displays are the wrong way around.

IIRC the Bakerloo does not have stop markers.

And that was reported years ago, but DTG doesn't seem to fix this issue...

Oh. The subsurface lines do, and people have been mentioning stop markers, so I just assumed the Bakerloo Line did as well.

The subsurface lines didn't have stop markers until the introduction of the S stock.

  12. I would like to add the modelling of the tunnels to the list. Look absolutely nothing like the real thing.

This says C-stock on it, unless there's another C stock in the world. The only one I knew of was on the Circle Line.

Really? I thought they looked fine - mostly because the tunnels irl were too dark to actually see the walls of, but I still thought the ones in game were fine.

Yes, but those are very different to the regular platform stop markers seen on other routes.

  15. Yes most lu lines have the diamond stop markers.

And you will be surprised how well you can see the tunnels in rl. And in rl the tunnel walls are coverd with liner plates

I can see the grid pattern that I see in the tunnels in the game. What's a liner plate?

  17. Metal plates bolted together.

They look the same to me though. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I can be convinced otherwise. Sorry DangerousDave.

Also since when did the District Line have deep-level tunnels - or have I got my facts wrong?

  21. If your happy with it your happy with it. Being an engineer I like things to be done properly, something that's a rarity these days.

That's the section of piccadilly line, that's included with the virtual district line route. Or is it jubilee! Think its jubilee.

    Fair enough.

Oh so it is more than just the District Line! Interesting!

  23. It's constantly expanding. I think it's on phase 3 so far, which extended the line to Whitechapel.

As the piccadilly line runs along side some of the District Line, that was added with the rolling stock.
