Three add-on releases together, and still the GP reduction isn't applied. I understand that for some reason DTG chooses to manually set this, but it always means a frustrating wait to buy any new DLC. With expensive content, the saving isn't trivial, and other titles seem to have it working each time without issue. Is there a chance of any change to the way this is handled?
As far as I know the discount isn't applied by DTG but by MS themselves, which usually takes a bit of time to apply. Fortunately I noticed it got applied a bit faster for TSW3 releases than back in the days, so with a bit of hope we're good to go even today.
Indeed, I‘ve complained in the past as it seems a bit unfair to those that buy it on Day 1. JD replied somewhere and explained that Microsoft have to apply it manually and all they can do is remind them. The only one I can remember being there are on launch day was Birmingham, but that was probably because DTG delayed it.
Seriously, today's generation has zero patience. I can imagine the torture of having to wait for the new DLC to download...
Today's generation? I'm probably older than most here, lol! It's only being around this long that teaches one to be more particular about the customer service we receive and lowers our threshold for being messed about. Besides, my concern is not purely one of self-interest; We run an Xbox TSW club in which we get many questions and help requests about newly released content, and it's not ideal to have to reply "Sorry, I can't check that for you as I don't yet own the route".
I just realized that I was waiting for the wrong thing. See, I was looking for a Gamepass discount for the Super Bundle, and that's not happening. There are discounts on individual DLCs, but not on the bundle. Probably intentionally, since DTG have to eat too.
