My question is simple. What would the community like dovetail games and their partner program to focus on or do better in TSW for the rest of 2023 and onward. I would you want them to listen to the community more for their ideas and improvement. Now I would like to ask the community for their comment!?
This is a dream but a truly rush hour, busy US route. Boston sprinter was busy at Boston but not much happens on the mainline. The uk has bml. Germany has bremen oldenburg where there are ai trains all over bremen. So a us route that feels like one of those 2 would be nice whether it's a subway route if that every happens or a big commuter line that includes as much trains as possible so it truly feels busy.
If they can ever get the Metra license, a prime candidate for what you suggest would be a TSW version of the " Racetrack " Chicago to Aurora with Metra commuter trains, BNSF freight and the Amtrak Southwest Chief. Of course, any part of the NEC between Boston and DC, can be made super- busy if a full Commuter, Amtrak and freight timetable is generated.
I just want a modern UK route with a good amount of focus on freight. Some more BR Blue and BR Green would be nice too!
A proper timetable and editor consist, then DTG can carry on providing the barebones of a timetable as we've got in Trenton to their hearts delight. Its a win win, for the customer we get the opportunity to adjust, update and play around with the timetable and for DTG they can save money by not having to provide a full time table and get more sales (and money) from loco DLCs. Everyone is happy.
It would be nice if DTG could use the feedback from the community to make better quality routes to make TSW the best game it can be. Have anyone noticed there's a lot of AI services missing and the addition of Long Island railroad AI services at New York Penn station missing? DTG really needs to listen to the feedback from the community?! I just feel like DTG are focusing on new players and not current players
Lirr layers being missing had already been confirmed prior to stream and Matt explained why it was left out. Same situation with other AI services. Some ai services are run by different locomotives or multiple units.
How about International routes from the Big Three US UK and Germany Germany-Netherlands Duisburg/Bochum-Utrecht Bremen Oldenburg Leer (Ostf) Bad Nieuwschans Groningen Germany-France Mannheim Appenweier Strasbourg Mulhouse Freiburg im Briesgau US Toronto-Buffalo makes OSD extended to the US UK Belfast Dundalk
I'd be happy with something basic like TSW3 actually running well on an Xbox Series X. However I won't hold my breath on that one ever happening.
2023 to 2025 - Should give them long enough to fix the Dostos on rapid transit. Anything else would be a bonus.
*Passengers, or lack of, especially something like a deserted new street, simply unforgiveable. *making sure a routre is as good as it can be BEFORE release, yes I know you will get the odd bug crop up once a route goes live and that's fair enough, providing the issues are addressed instead of the usual "well we've had the money now and don't really care" *joined up thinking on the uk routes, for example, instead of random routes dotted around the country utilising transport hubs such as new street or Paddington etc to build up a network of routes from said hubs. *given the recent rise in the price of DLC I think it's only fair to expect a few more scenarios and more than one train per DLC, which brings me onto.. *this one is personal preference, I don't know if the average person prefers timetables or scenarios bit personally I would have more scenarios and less timetables.
I would like sensible route placement but not every route can be in the same area: the Eastern Region has seen absolutely nothing which considering the routes which run through it (ECML, GEML, etc) is rather baffling! For me I agree with more scenarios but disagree completely with less timetables as they are what make me have TSW on my PC and not TSC (though I mostly play on s series xbox now anyway!) and they give that variety and continuity as well.
