Hello, for NJ Transit services, some stations have platforms that are much too small, sometimes I have 4 cars off the platform, this takes away from the charm of the game and less realism... Possibility of enlarging the platforms?
I assume that is realistic. In the US there are several stations where the trains overhang the platform. On LIRR and Harlem Line you will also find 8+ car trains stopping at 4 car long platforms. It's just something they do in the US.
Yeah that’s completely realistic. It’s a widespread issue seen in the Northeast. Some stations just never get any investment to be extended to fit longer trains. Most NJT lines have stations with shorter platforms
Ok but what is less realistic is that the doors open on cars off the platform will there be a patch on that?
The doors opening off platform occur with all DLC, I noticed it the other day on one of the German routes where I braked too early and came in a car length short.
In real life, the doors are controlled by conductors who are able to open the correct doors. I do agree it should be a feature for doors that are not on the platform should not open
