Don't really have an opinion as i have no IRL experience with it.

I do kinda like the idea of a quieter steam route after all the emptiness of SOS.

Any chance that existing BR locos could sub/layer in? I know this is set about 4 years after SOS, so the transition was in full swing.

I'm slowly warming up to Steam despite the bugs in SOS, but still prefer driving diesel and electric more.

BR Diesels in that era would have to be in a BR Green livery (Non-WSR variants), which none of them have in TSW.

The Class 33 does, and what's wrong with the WSR versions of the 47 and Gronk?

However the 33 didn't venture up north and the 47s didn't really venture away from the ER in 63 (I think some were starting to be allocated to the WR at the end of the year but not the LMR).

The class 45s would be a good option and if the flush markers were replace with the headcode box and BR green slapped on I would take that even if the ETH was left in. That would be better than nothing. Additionally the 101 can have BR Green and speed whiskers slapped on to cover on the Buxton Branch services as this too would be better than nothing.

A reworked Peak would be most at home on this route. Hopefully on DTG’s agenda.
