The update to the route today has certainly fixed some issues however some issues remain. The rain still disappeared from the wind screen at high speeds, the TMS doesnt work whilst using the new camera for it, I find the rain sounds are a bit loud for the cab and there still isn't enough time to set the train up when starting a service. It would be great to have time to set saftey systems up as well as the TMS.
Agree, sounds are a bit better in the cab, but rain is very loud as is the door opening from ai trains at the same station. Blue flash entering tunnels TMS Camera view not responsive on PS5 Rain on Windsceeen Setup time Removal of free move camera Above need to be resolved
Can confirm, whilst you can now see TMS screen, you can’t scroll around it or make it do anything (like an announcement). I’m on XBox X.
theirs still also the last I checked and no update for Luzern I’ve noticed, for fixing the Luzern train horn completely cutting out with sound after a few seconds
Also work may have been done on Scotland Glasgow Edinburgh but now there are no track or joint sounds
How did the sounds get this bad? I thought they would improve, but like reddit, they have regressed. I really wish they would listen, but greed and money dictate what they do.
Based on a youtube video I watched of a player playing on the route after the update, there were track joint sounds.
The sounds aren't terrible. At least it doesn't sound like a jet engine in outside camera and the wind noise in cabin has been toned down a lot. You can still hear it, but much quieter than before. The inverter noises are there now, but activate at the wrong speed (20mph instead of 27). It's a lot more manageable and friendly to the ear. And in terms of actual sounds, rivet don't have real sound recordings and they are talking with scotrail to record so there's that.
Probably explains year in why 150/2 a mess on west Cornwall then the insult that a railtour being released on same road strikes me they should get priority right and fix 150/2 and not leave mess before introducing something else to west Cornwall local and till this fixed I’m not convinced that the class 158 in midland mainline will be any better as in tsw3 so far all they have demonstrated is how not to setup and correctly implement sprinters
Just to add to the feedback in this thread, on the Xbox (One X) the zoom views on the TMS and the safety panel doesn't allow me to move the camera, so I'm unable to select anything at all. Perhaps on the PC this isn't a problem as you can move the mouse. I'm hoping this can be fixed, as zooming in on the TMS from the driver's seat is an exercise in frustration, especially when the train is moving. It seems a shame to add the close-up view but not allow the player to do anything other than look at the display.
