Maybe for release April to May. TheTrainGuy4
has another interesting video about future releases on You Tube. Is it a leak or is it fantasy? If true, I am pretty excited about this new content but sincerely hope Manchester to Crewe and the Severn Valley will be worked on at some stage.

It's not on the roadmap yet, so I will wait until it becomes more official. We know the loco bundle was part of the leaks and it turned out to be true, so I will wait until something more official

JD did say that the leak with this on are all WIP file names and are a long way from release if they will be released at all

Modern electric not really of interest.

It is really a short route unless they do include the Blackpool South branch.

Short and pretty much flat as regards gradients and scenery. Combine that with modern push to go EMU's and as I said above I really don't see the appeal. Any attempt to do Blackpool should have been in the classic BR Blue or even earlier era, so you could have a summer Saturday service replete with, in addition to the scheduled loco hauled traffic, various relief trains and excursions literally from all around the country with Class 104 and 108 DMU's on the local trains.

AAE, CB = City-Bahn? But with DB BR403 isn't meant the ICE3, which is already out since HMA. It's probably meant the ET403, also formerly marked as BR403. Only three units were built. It's an electric multiple unit that ran long before the introduction of the ICE1 in Western Germany. It's nickname was "Donald Duck", because of its unique front design.

BTW: why is so much leaking possible via SteamDB or is it intended to get first reactions from the community? For me the best leak is still the poster in the Training Center. ;)

Im not familiar with the route, just went quickly looking on the maps. The blackpool south branch seems to take a circle and join the mainline to preston?

If yes the route would indeed only make sense with the branchline included.

The 403 is referring to the 403 releasing as part of the loco bundle. The bnsf one would be the sd70 on cajon. The ogbr would be the 37.

Has there actually been anything to suggest the route code yet? or is this just assuming from the current trend that it'll be modern?

Fair enough, I will qualify my statement by revising it to, "If this is modern electric, not really of interest."

Im not sure what JT (if it is indeed their route) have majored on whether it be modern or not in TSC? I imagine modern would be easier to model for them if it was theres, especially being a first route. If its DTG then could be any time?

Although we do really need more historic content I do agree.

Double headed class 40’s and class 20’s bringing trains of mk1’s full of day trippers. Sounds wonderful.

We could have it on tees valley with trips to Saltburn.

I wouldn't even object to a Sprinter/Pacer era rendition but there seems to be a preoccupation with making for the UK mainly electrified routes (and yes, that is bearing in mind Peak Forest and East Midlands).

I was just curious if there was some information I hadn't seen yet!
But agreed, a modern setting of this wouldn't be the most interesting route.
a 2000's/ 2010's route with diesels would be better! we are long overdue a pacer!

It would be nice to see it at least set in the period of semaphore signals. Regional railway days maybe with a sprinter, class 31 and mark 1's/2's

If it’s set far enough in the past it could include the Blackpool Central line and the line up to Fleetwood.

  19. This would be a great route and could be Just Trains Project the Class 700/0 would be epic but must have the AP Effect added to them as Dovetail as all TSC players know screwed it up big time the City Bahn sounds good i hope its the S-Bahn Frankfurt or the S-Bahn Hamberg

Worth noting this was leaked via an Epic Games database which contained the names of all add-ons… even the unreleased ones. So SteamDB is not the culprit for once ;) :D

In general, SteamDB doesn’t tend to leak file names. It’s mostly a cool tool to see the development activity with all the depots and branches as well as preparations and contents of a game patch. But the biggest SteamDB leaks usually occur when they add the achievements and stat trackers a few weeks before release. I believe BRO got revealed that way.

I agree and for S-Bahn Frankfurt (Rhein-Main) Hamburg these are PZB equipped. Regarding Class 700/0 on TSC it got patched by ATS too which is probably making Blackpool to Preston.

Yes you're right! Then it's meant the "Trainbow" ICE3 from the 2nd Loco pack. The abbreviation CB could most likely apply to City-Bahn. Actually, these orange/white painted trains with n-wagons and the "Karlsruher Kopf" cab car usually pulled by a BR218. But since this will not come before 2024, you can use an electric locomotive instead. I think the BR141 were also used for these trains. If that's correct you could layer it later on the Linke Rheinstrecke and exchange it for the BR110. ;)

...there is still a 50/50 chance that it's more than just a collectable. Isn't today the next steam DLC were released for WCL. After Easter "Peak Forest" is coming up, i.e. steam locomotive DLCs are coming more and more often, but unfortunately only for the UK so far. :|

My take on this is that if JT has made it, then considering the time taken & the short length, it will be an AC route with a new train.

If this is the ATS route, then I reckon it will be set in the sprinter era.

Considering the popularity of Modern routes, I doubt JT or ATS will risk their first release being set any earlier than the 90’s.

You are correct for the DRG 52 locomotive in the poster it's actually either a West German Deutsche Bundesbahn Baureihe 052 or the East German Deutsche Reichsbahn Rekolok 52.80.

Could this have the 319 in it? That would be awesome. We are missing an old school emu with English electric derived motors

I have a strong feeling that we have a 390 upcoming for Tsw 3, we have the avanti license already, so it must also be in the pipeline

I get the feeling this will be the ATS route, it is in an area they have modelled For TSC and with it being fairly short, it would make sense that it is a first route from a third party developer

If it's another push and run emu, you can count me out, whoever makes it. This conveyor belt of modern UK traction is becoming tedious. And I'm pretty sure it'll be a one trick pony like Cathcart, BCC and E to G.

Time to dial it back to some loco hauled real trains, if any of you youngsters on here can remember them. ;)

Oh, didn't there used to be some freight over there too? Whatever happened to that? ;)

Wholeheartedly agree mate. The MUs don't give me the same sense of enjoyment or power as the locos do. Ideally I would like to see a 70s BR blue route where there would be real trains making lots of noise and turning heads. I spend my whole day on MUs (usually) so when I get home it is nice just to go on TSW and hear the sound of a diesel engine at work but after more than 10,000 miles on NTP (even with it's beauty) is starting to get a bit tedious.
I am also rather disappointed there aren't peak and 101 in the new peak forest route as well as the diesels were common on the line in 63.

I'm not sure who said it but there was mention of a 3rd party being associated with this but who it might be wasn't really stated.

I think Tom and Mark are still developing extensions for MML on TSC, so not much spare time for them to create for TSW? Unless JT have employed others for this route.
