this route would be set in late 2019 to include the iconic greater anglia push pull service with the class 90 and mk3 coaches also a slow service using the class 321 another icon of this route in its red door greater anglia livery the stations would be -London Liverpool Street -Stratford -Maryland -Forest Gate -Manor Park -Ilford -Seven Kings -Goodmayes -Chadwell Heath -Romford -Gidea Park -Haroldwood -Brentwood -Shenfield -Ingatestone -Chelmsford -Hatfield Peverel -Witham -Kelvedon -Marks Tey -Colchester -Manningtree -Ipswich -may also include Ipswich Freightliner Depot for the class 66 layer this route would be 66 miles long and could open up an opportunity for a class 345 Elizabeth line DLC in its sleek purple and blue livery layers might include the class 66 and diesel railtours similar to those on birmingham cross city
Good suggestion mate, especially with the push pull sets which became icons of the line. We need a route in the east.
Guessing you mean the 315, as the 317 never routinely ran the route. also, can’t do this line without the 321s
Agreed a 321 would be essential for this route, unless they do it super modern with the 345's, 720's and 745's. My personal preference would be for this route to be fairly modern with class 315's and 321's with the base route and a class 90 as dlc.
# class 321s can be added for Railtours as I've found out they are leaving west Anglia and are going to have a Railtour over the whole network as a send-off.
That would be excellent. I used to drive this route in MSTS on the excellent Making-Tracks Great Eastern add-on.
Good suggestion. Would be an excellent addition to TSW especially if the Class 321 is one of the trains made for it.
Time to bring this TSC route into TSW 3. Freight Class 86 Mix traffic Class 90 EMU 317 321 315. If set in 2019 to 24-30 March 2020 phase out of class 90 GEML. The route will be comprised of Class 90 317 321 745 345 & 86 as rolling stock. From SEH Class 66 DLC RHTT. Video by PTG Rail shows a Hudless Run
End of this month i believe the last 'dusty bins' exits service for GA. 317 only ran as a replacement for the aging 90's on very rare occassions, the 315 was the mainstay of the metros until their retirement last year. 317's ran the Stansted express and West Anglia routes more than Eastern ones.
Okay get it now so what would a 2019 version of outlooks like I'm guessing 345 321 745 & 90 Mk3 DVT possibly 86 as your dual-purpose locomotive
Pretty much, Could throw the 315 in (as i understand it's pratically identical to the 314) as they were run alongside the 345s for a good few years. As long as the 90/Mk3s, 321 and 315's were in, it'd be a close enough. Plus the option for freight and 150/153/156 at Ipswich - Felixstowe
Which version of class 150 exactly runs here remember achievement wise it will share the same ones as on West Cornwall
Quick google shows that It was a 153 rather than a 150. So, I was wrong on that count, but we could also AI layer in at Marks Tey for the Sudbury Branch too.
