That's the Wirral line covered folks, hope you enjoyed it, this little network would be great in game, wouldn't you agree... anyway, put your thoughts down below as per always, I've been TG08, and I'll see you later, goodbye
This is a must-have if the Merseyrail licence can be obtained. I most like the gameplay aspect of this route where services would originate from one of the four branches, travel towards the City and through the underground loop, and back out to one of the branches again without needing to switch cabs. Given we already have the similar Class 313/314 in-game, the stock shouldn't be too much of an issue either.
Bring it on to the game and this should be left too Skyhook games because it is their backyard just like Rivet Games and Stirling Railway Station. possibly their next route after Midland main line Leicester to Derby & Leeds via Sheffield
I’m not sure the Wirral Line’s Lime Street station would be better than the SoS one somehow. It’s basically one underground platform, quite separate from the mainline station.
Fair enough, got a bit carried away due to not searching Lime Street Merseyrail forgetting the Merseyrail station is under LIV lol
Nice to see you with another suggestion mate! I think it would be a nice change from SE 3rd rail routes so could be interesting to have in game.
Thanks mate, nice to be back doing these, yep this would be different from the SE 3rd Rail routes we have already and this is a little network in itself
I agree with you let's wait and see how Midland Main Line works if it's a success then they can do this one in their backyard. Same case as Rivet Games Glasgow Queen Street to Dundee via Stirling route if made
I’ve been asking for Merseyrail since joining these forums. Nothing yet, but if we keep nagging, maybe one day. I’d like to see the whole network in the game, but if only one line, definitely the Wirral Line.
Agreed, if it has so much of a following, it needs to be in-game full stop but I know it isn't as easy as that
I'm also a massive +1 for this route. Particularly with the new 777 trains in operation now. There are many wonderful old stations along the line and also some nice scenery along the Mersey estuary. Some nice local landmarks like Port Sunlight to model. Maybe with the acquisition announced today they will have more resources to do routes like this. I mean I would actually pay up front if they did a crowdfunding....
First off, welcome to the forums, I hope you enjoy your stay here, second off, it could happen if DTG have a lot of community backing on here which it has so far
That can work and for Class 777 EMU you play that like a UK EMU which means Driver's Remainder Appliance when Shutdown or Handing off to a different train driver.
