Hello! I am Jimmy and I am a huge fan of Train Sim World! I live around Denver and have been a huge fan of the local RTD Light Rail/ Commuter Rail Lines. I would love to see these routes in the game, I can help with lots of things that you may need with the route, I know since the network is so heavily interlined this might be difficult to make. I suggest that if you don’t want to create all the routes that you make either the A or N Lines for the Commuter Rail and the E or D Line for the Light Rail. I also think that if you added these routes the new TMS system that was released with the Edinburgh-Glasgow route would be a really good addition here! I hope that you consider this, thank you for creating all of these amazing routes and I appreciate all the hard work you put in to this game!

Excellent idea keep in mind the commuter rails uses the same Silverliner V as Philadelphia SEPTA system however the low level doors are taken out

This is very much true although the door alignments are also different, RTD has two doors for each “entrance” while septa does single doors. The PIS and interiors are also quite different!

Same here I would love the see Rtd rails added into the game. I love the train designs, electrified tracks, stations, and the scenery along the routes. Ik septa also has the same silverlines but just with different design. And after riding both trains I can say having Rtd commuter rail added, even just the silverliners… would be TO DIE FOR.

I’m new to train sim world but fell in love with it fast. And I also live around Denver, and I would say I believe having Rtd Commuter rail in the game would be lovely. Trains look nice, tracks are always clean, along with the station. It’s does have its cons but it’s still a great system.

Rtd Commuter is a lovely system, it’s does needs some work. Not a total bad way tho. The most useful route in my opinion would probably say the A Line. Takes u from the airport to downtown, which is amazing. And they run at nice frequent times and go a nice speed. And with the quiet zones, I love it. Besides all that, I do love the idea of adding this to the game. Feel like it gets a little change. Especially since it’s a US route.

feel like that’s why I prefer RTD, because in my opinion, higher level platforms is always the better option. not all the time, but sometimes…

Faster boarding is your result however the same train can be modified to have a lower platform doors for Philadelphia when needed in game. Remember the game treats RTD and SEPTA Silverliner V as a single train

I rode the California Zephyr and stopped by The Rtd Commuter, and I can say the downtown area, station and trains were nice and rememberable.

Love the suggestion, but it’s all down if they can get the licensing and player agreement to make this route/train. Might seem a bit unfair but they need something everyone would be okay with buying and playing. But I’m still in favorites for this route.

It was fun, would say it’s not for everyone. Very scenic with nice break stopping points but your sitting most of the time with nothing to do unless exploring at a stop.

US routes have been real scarce, but we’re still waiting for the unannounced US route. Which they should’ve just kept in this 4-6 month category :/ but it’s all about being patient.

These are true, unfortunately it probably won't ever happen as it probably wouldn't make them enough money. My suggestion would have changed by now. Either making A and R lines as they have a common station. Or any Commuter Rail Line with either the E or W Lines. I don't see the downtown loop being added; honestly, that seems quite the stretch. I think that the E line would be the most promising as it's a nice long drive and then you could add the G and B lines since the B line is only one station further out after Pecos Junction for a shorter experience. If they were to do the E line you could simulate services on the D line from 10th & Osage to I-25 & Broadway and H line services from 10th & Osage to Southmoor. Depending on if you are using the E line or the W line you could have services from DUS to Auraria West, this would allow for quite a variety of service variations!!
