Yet again, when DTG promise bug fixes we are getting nothing. Cross City is still plagued with launch day bugs, I believe there’s still no patch for Trenton? And on other routes the biggest problems just aren’t being addressed.

what is the point in lying to us? It’s just pathetic and pointless.

To be fair, they never lied.
It's like that friend you lent money to, and he said "I owe you!".
He doesn't say "I will pay you back next week", lest you ask him next week where the money is.
At any time from here until eternity, he owes you. Doesn't mean he will ever pay you back.

Just out of interest, what bugs is Cross City plagued with? I play it a lot and never come across any. I noticed a few minor ones at the start, but they were resolved by a post-release patch.

Cross City & Bremen Oldenburg both got good early bug fixes in fairness to DTG and I think both routes are in really good shape. Ofcourse the argument is they should never have needed as many bug fixes as they did but we are where we are.

Ive no doubt Trenton willl get the fixes we've been promised in due course, but yeah it is taking longer than it should.

    Starter for 10;

    - the collectibles remain broken.
    - The GSM-R still craps out all the time.
    - There are issues with eye adaption still
    - The 323 doesn’t restore from a save properly
    - The fix for the Redditch branch scenery was nothing like good enough

That’s enough to be going on with, surely. That said, even with the above it remains one of the better routes in this regard.

Their vision for the post release patches started really nicely, and there were some great and quick patches such as those for Bremen-Oldenburg. But lately, it has seemed more and more that the promise of post release patches is utilized to justify releasing routes in an unfinished state, with Niddertalbahn being the first notable TSW3 route to launch without huge issues. I really don’t remember this many “rocky” TSW2 route launches.

DTG need to reassess their release schedule and realize that publishing routes in a broken state can permanently damage the DLCs’ reputation in the community, and this can’t just be fixed with an insufficient patch months later. Niddertalbahn is the first TSW3 standalone route I’ve bought, and I can guarantee that number would be higher if all the releases weren’t so rocky.

Theres a reason why on steam Niddertalbahn has 45 reviews, 44 of which are nothing but positive. There's also a reason why out of 54 reviews of Trenton 69% are negative.

The fact Niddertalbahn has been out 24 hours and almost as many reviews on steam as Trenton (out for over a month) in my mind says quality sells.

Indeed. I haven't purchased a route for TSW yet that hasn't been heavily discounted. Niddertalbahn is the first route I've considered buying immediately, because of the perceived quality (which includes actual random events, i.e. failed crossings, making it more interesting).

If you havent brought it and can accept it for its beauty and game play even though its a quiet branch line with little traffic then I'd urge you to make the plunge.

Its not for everyone admitedly, if you only enjoy highspeed runs with lots of traffic then it isnt for you.

I really enjoy the quieter, more scenic routes too.

Then I can unequivocally recommend it to you, for me at least ( and it seems countless others also) has been the best £30 Ive spent on TSW

Rushing out 5 routes in unfinished / not polished state, takes you the time of a new route for fixing them.

Like i said, not supporting lazyess. Im currently very close to a point of stopping invest money in tsw entirely.

Maybe not but when alls said and done DTG is publisher of tsw3 so they are responsible for quality control as when we download dlc it’s always DTG so there is question of quality control or lack of

    Absolutely this.
Rivet should be on notice from DTG to fix the many outstanding issues with their content, going back to the jerky loco on Arosa. Instead they are allowed to publish more imperfect content (EtoG) to continue raking in the money.

Also look at recent events steam route releases on west Cornwall local another cash grab with only tinkering around the edges ti route in update with no attempt whatsoever to fix 150/2 seems illogical also can create new add on from scratch yet not fixing existing glaring issues which they are more than aware of after year since west Cornwall launch strikes me they need to stop seeing £ and get priorities right
