On the training center is it possible to place more then one loco to drive?Upto now any additional locos i place says your not authorized to drive this loco.
Training Centre is a pretty lame place. If there was an option, I'd remove it from the game and save space.
Its main purpose is to be the base route and tutorial track for all new loco dlc. Now we can buy new loco DLC without needing to buy a different route for each of them as we had to with TSW2.
With scenario planner you can place trains in this area,so why can't you drive more then the frist one you placed.
Scenario Planner is very limited. Out of the 30 trains you can place, one has to be drivable. The rest are AI only that you cannot take over. What you can do is tell the AI to go somewhere, and then drive your own train around as well. However, using scenario planner, you can only drive 1 train. If you want to drive multiple trains, you could try "on foot" option, but then you only get Southeastern, Kassel-Wurzburg, and Cajon Pass trains on there.
You can take over the AI trains once they’ve completed the instructions you set for them in the scenario planner. I set them up to drive from one siding to another; once they’ve done that I just take over and have free reign.
Indeed. They went through all the effort of making it and yet the tutorials still don’t tell you the most basic things like how to put the lights on…
Funny enough, that restriction of not being able to take over any other service in scenario planner didn’t exist at first. From when scenario planner was introduced with TSW 2 in 2020, to the Rush Hour 4.26 update in 2021, the planner didn’t have any restrictions on what services you can drive. After that 4.26 update, DTG introduced that restriction of not being allowed to drive other trains. It’s unfortunate because back then there used to be this one person that uploaded a bunch of nice scenarios onto the TSC site called “multiple drives” which the point was to drive multiple trains, but now it’s not possible.
The training center has no restricting redlights all manual switches yet you can't place multi locos to drive unless you free them up by sending them on pointless trips to nowhere, then you have to walk all over the training center to get to them and use them.DTG must do this because many complain to much and wants to mess with us because of it.
