I've noticed that some speed signs are small and low and some are high and large. For example: I saw a low small 20mph sign and then a high large 50mph sign. It seems the overview was only abiding by the 50mph sign. Is this how it's meant to be, do I ignore the small low signs?
Thanks for the response, Railmaster - I was on the Birmingham Cross-City Line at the time. I'll see if I can capture it on my next run and post as an image here.
More than likely the 20mph had an arrow sign underneath, meaning it applied to the "diverging route", ie if you were using the junction or crossover you would have to be doing 20mph at that time The larger signs apply generally so are more visible
Oh yeah, my bad. I missed the red circle outline, that means you can only fit a train with a maximum of 15 carriages at the platform to the left, if you have more than that you'll have to contact the signaller
Ahh, thanks to the posters for your replies, very much appreciated. All is now very clear to me As for a troll, I hear they make good pets ;-)
