Been working on stock that uses the BR Roundel from the 1960s. Here are a few that are now on the Hub: LM Maroon MK1 BG and MK2s SR Green MK1 BG and MK2s WR Choc&Cream MK1 BG and MK2s Class 101 DMU
For some reason I'm having a problem uploading Class 08s. Apologies if you found D3019 and now its gone. I will be attempting to get it back up.
Solved the problem above re. D3019. Apparently, the Hub will not accept the name 'Liverpool'. So I cannot state that the loco was based in the Liverpool area, but instead I have to say it was based in the S.o.S. area. Go figure! D3019, D3836 and D3857 now uploaded. All 3 were based in the LIVERPOOL area in the 1960s!
Having a BR Green Class 08 has allowed me to play with a few other shunters, so here we have: Class 10 D4092 Class 11 12100 Class 12 15224
First four of the Tinsley shunters are now available on Creators Club..... I'll also put them on TSC once I've completed the full set. I'm slowly going through them all weathering each of them and adding individual details to each loco so they all look slightly different (even the weathering) so as this will be a time consuming process I will probably upload them to CC in sets of four or five.
This morning i finished creating the ‘Class 313 Farewell Tour Livery’ for the Class 314. If you wish you can download it now, took me ages to finish.
Following making this, i thought i may as well make a full nse livery. Here it is, just uploading it now. I also have an unwethered version if anyone wants me to upload that then i can do so.
New for GWE - The Early Years! Class 52 'Western' locos in 1960's period liveries: D1000 in Desert Sand D1003 in BR Green D1015 in Golden Ochre D1072 in BR Maroon Due to limits in Livery Designer, the locos have the above numbers but nameplates are random generated from the 74 members of the class when in-game. I don't understand why the nameplates are part of the Livery Designer Base models, but not the associated numberplates!? Either, have both or neither! Also, because the nameplates are fixed, I cannot change the colour to red for the BR Green livery and have chosen to keep the numberplate in black to match the nameplate. Apologies for the mis-match. I will be uploading a number of Westerns in the BR Maroon colours in the next few weeks. I'm also reliverying the GWE coaches to Maroon and Choc & Cream for the locos. These will follow soon.
Hi I'm new to the forum I hope it's ok to ask a question here. I was also wondering how I find the various liveries on the locos in the trains section. I subscribed to a few people on the train sim 3 dovetail live, and chose a couple of different liveries and scenarios. Ware do I find the different liveries on the locos when I want I choose a loco to use in the timetable, or scenarios? Thanks
Note the route the livery can be found on, then select the loco that the livery is made from. The loco will have three tabs across the top one being a liveries tab select that tab and there is where you find the livery you subscribed to.
Submited to the Creation Club. I hope this won't get down. Spoiler: Lore Transcontinental Cargo in a (fictional) transnational company. Founded in 1994 in ***********, ******, it provides freight transportation in 40 countries around Eurasia and Africa from Morocco and Greece to Finland and Norway, and from Kazakhstan and India to Portugal and the UK. In 2022 Transnational Cargo suspended operations in its home country and moved its headquarters to Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
As promised, a selection of Western region MK1 and MK2 coaches for use with the Class 52 Westerns. I've uploaded the MK1 BGs in WR Maroon and WR Chocolate & Cream and the MK2 FKs in the same liveries. I'm working on the MK2 TSOs atm. All these coaches are based on the GWE versions, so will run with the Westerns..
These 2 now complete the set - TSOs in BR Maroon (WR) and Western Region Chocolate & Cream. These are reliveried from the GWE coaches so will operate with my Class 52 Westerns. Full rakes available, or mix and match! I'm currently working on the Class 47/4 into 1960s 2-tone Green - with compromises, sadly - for a varied starting line at Paddington. I might even do a scenario. PS. Can anyone mod the TVL Class 20s (x2) to work with the SoS 12T mineral wagons?
BR 103 in Orient Red. Blue BR 110 with red DB logo. Beige/Blue BR 110 with red DB logo. Blue BR 110. Beige/Blue BR 110.
Great liveries, someone was very busy here! A bit more color variety on LFR is good for the route. It also fits in the time period, except for traffic red. In 1997 there was very little red because it wasn't introduced until 1996. From the 2000s onwards, traffic red became more and more popular and all locomotives and wagons were repainted during routine inspections. Meanwhile the BR628 from NID has been repainted for CC several times in traffic red too. There's finally the great 90's mint green, but the urge for traffic red still kicks in again. Is probably due to the younger players who are only used to DB red.
As an American that's never been abroad, I didn't know how accurate it would be to be running Traffic Red. I did some light research and found that DB Regio was incorporated in 1999, and I did find some pictures of them freshly painted in 1999, so I figured someone might use them as though they're brand new for 1999. Personally, I was very happy they set the route in the 90s so that there'd be more than Traffic Red for me to run/see/make. What feels lacking to me is freight variety.
...no problem, you just can't get past traffic red these days, even in the former past. Seems to have established itself in the minds of players, like a Ferrari red. I think at least one train addon will be planned for LFR in the future. Maybe it will be the blue/white "Interregio" trains with another electric locomotive, like the BR120. So let's wait and see, there is definitely still potential.
Some new stuff from me. Having completed the reliveries of BR MK1 and MK2 coaches into Maroon and Choc & Cream, I thought some Class47s in BR Green were needed to haul them, both for GW - Legends and S.o.S. Here are the first of the Western region Brush Type 4's D1597 D1755 And 3 of the namers: D1664 GEORGE JACKSON CHURCHWARD D1667 ATLAS D1677 THOR These are all based on the NTP Class 47/4 and work with my reliveried NTP coaches. Sorry about the headcode panel - the Livery Designer does not allow me to represent them accurately
Continuing the 1960s BR Green era theme, here are 3 recent uploads to the Hub for Green Class 20s. A bit of background: Class 20s, or EE Type 1's were constructed in 2 batches - D8000 to D8127 in the late 1950s with headcode discs, and D8128 - D8199; D8300 - D8327 in the mid 1960s with headcode boxes. The TVL Class 20 represents the 1950s batch. These had variations of livery and I've represented this in the livery releases. D8000 - D8049 had the totem version of the BR Crest; while D8050 - D8127 had the Roundel design of BR Crest. The livery releases are: Version 1 D8022 + D8027 with BR Totem Version 2 D8052 + D8067 with BR Roundel Version 3 D8024 + D8055, the former with BR Totem, the latter with BR Roundel
I'm really not happy with reliverying the WCL Class 37/5 into BR Green for use as a 37/0, but needs must until we get a 37/0. Here is D6959, allocated to Darnall Depot, Sheffield in the early 1960s
So I uploaded a scenario for North TransPennine - BR Green Days, which includes many of my green BR diesels, including 2 more 37s and a bauxite liveried Seacow! Available on the Hub
So I also made a livery on my Ps5. It’s been a while since I had done my last one but here we go! It’s the RhB Ge4/4 II 633 with an advertisement foliage for the Rätoromanian television RTR. I really had fun doing it and especially the Zuoz „logo“ was a lot of fun to do and I think it came out quite nicely! Because of the lack of different fonts the letters and numbers are not 100% correct, but that’s fine for me. I like the livery because it has these topographical parts on the sides- although they are only circles here. And that’s where I have one question: There is a picture of the real locomotive below, has anyone got an idea how to do theses white topographic circles better with a few layers? I have about 40 left :0
Took me a while trying to make the logo from shapes. Hope you enjoy https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/87687
Ugh the LODs are terrible it’s like on SOS with both locomotives… are you on 8th gen console by curiosity?
Class 158 in GWR livery, I tried to be the most realistic possible by adding maximum details, it was made on PS5:
The HST is kinda weird to work on they messed up and I’m not surprised anyway here’s the HST in GNER livery, I haven’t got many layers left to detail the old-style GNER logo hence why it looks bad:
Here we have the iconic HST in original Inter-City 125 British Rail livery. Not 100% accurate, but I'm still happy with how it turned out. Availble from Creator's Club. Created on PS5. https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/88157
Alright so this time the 158 in SWR livery, because of layers limitation I couldn’t do the different stripes on each sides but I’m still satisfied:
4(7) liveries for the NTP Class 47 today; InterCity Swallow 47612 'Titan' - InterCity Executive Titan Nameplate upscaled for display- it's smaller in the final livery. Virgin Trains Debranded 47701 'Waverley' - Nemesis Rail (BR Green Colours) The Numbers on 47701 are custom made (used the default font as a base, worked from there) The Font for the 'Titan' nameplate is custom (using the default as a base) The Font for 'InterCity' on the Swallow Livery is custom, using the default as a base. The Font for 'InterCity' on the Titan livery, and the 'Waverley' livery's nameplate is a manipulated version of the default font, representing the Rail Alphabet Font. These will all be uploaded to Creators Club tomorrow.
Class 43 HST in Transport for Wales concept livery. I designed this livery based on a chat I had with someone where they said that TFW could replace their class 175s and replace them with out of work Class 43s and Mk 3 coaching stock. These units could then run on services to Manchester, Fishguard Harbour, Milford Haven with the option to extend services to London in the future. I'm. Not finished with this one yet, it's still a work in progress. Available on Creator's Club.
Let’s see how long this lasts before being taken down https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/90493
