I finally purchased this route whilst it was on sale as this is my area. Southampton, Docks and Millbrook look fairly about right. Moving down to nearer my home town after leaving Hinton Admiral we have long a straight towards Christchurch passing by the allotments and the Purewell Bypass. But looking ahead Christchurch itself is not there. Not even the Norman Priory Church, old Castle ruins. In fact Christchurch is just a field! Very disappointed. When I compare it to many other routes where the towns are simulated quite well to how they really are.

Is Christchurch claimed to be part of the route? If it's outside the area modelled it won't be there.

Instead of showing a picture of random fields show a picture of Christchurch Station, yes it does exist on this line IronBladder, to illustrate your point.

    Well, Christchurch is there...

The Norman House, a distant, tiny and insignificant building that can't be seen from a train even from external views cannot be seen. How sad. The priory is slightly larger but also cannot be seen and is well outside the usual scenery distance. I know it's your home town OP, but that doesn't mean DTG need to pay special attention to it.

I'm also not sure what you mean when you say Christchurch is just a field in TS when it clearly isn't.

There is one part of Christchurch that isn't modelled, but again it is small and far away from the player.

My image is of the embankment area between the allotments/Sainsburys/Ambury Lane Bridge and the Stony Lane Bridge. On the left side is the Purewell Bypass. The Priory would easily be seen from this position and from the station which is well modelled as is all the others. I am not condeming the route per say but commenting why some landmarks, ie; Priory are not visible. Although the Norman House (Castle) yes would be insigificant. I do not know what the range of each tile is but a sthe far side of Somerford Estate is visible from the track I would expect the Priory too. However as you say it may not be of importance to DT or is just off canvas

It depends if DTG, or who is making the route, thinks it would make a difference to the route.

Just Trains Chiltern Mainline goes past Warwick Castle - or it would if they had made it.
I don't know if that is something you would see from the Cab.

There are routes in both TSC and TSW with errors in them that I spot because they are local to me.
Other might not know they are missing
