Just as a suggestion, I'd love to see a 170 pack created, With Cross Country, Scotrail, Southern and East Midlands Trains represented (depending on licensing) with two and three car options available. AI and driveable services would be available for East Coastway, London Commuter, Edinburgh-Glasgow, Leicester-Nottingham-Derby. If a modern day Northern route was created then a northern 170 could be included.
Yes. Would be great to have the Turbostar in TSW. It can layer in at multiple locations including Ashford and Glasgow Queen Street.
Absolutely agree, the 170 is one of my local trains so I would love for it to be implemented in game in the future
Nice idea but I wouldn’t hold my breath seeing as all we getting are megasim Midland mainline videos pushed daily and no more information whatsoever on route from anyone
170 pack yes please. No need to spend the time and effort making the 171 unless we have a line for it (different coupler so would be more than a paint job)
The routes we currently have do not provide very long journeys for a Class 170, so instead I would prefer to see it included a new route where it can be put to better use, then layered or reused where else it's appropriate afterwards. Something like Fife Circle or the Harrogate loop would be ideal.
171s run on Coastway from Brighton to Eastbourne (- Ashford, where they'd appear on SEHS) and would be seen at the Croydon stations on BML
They don't run there in the year the route is set AI at Ashford isn't really a good reason to make a whole train...
Fife Circle would be a good route, even better if it went to to Dundee & added the ScotRail HST but I’m probably being greedy.
The idea is nice, because for now there's no Turbostar so It would look great on West Midlands Railway, Southern and Scotrail routes. The other services IA would be cool to see more traffic with different trains
Dundee would be a better end point for longer HST runs, but that could still include a good ~45 minute run in a Class 170 to Glenrothes via Kirkcaldy, along with the Dundee stopping services.
