Is anyone able to complete that training module? I wonder if there is a single route in this game that can be completed. It's really annoying. It's amazing how starting a timetable, scenario or whatever and being able to play it is like winning the lottery.
I completed the training module and successfully completed a timetable run right after. It's a matter of getting used to the brakes and learning to use the right brake combinations for the job at hand. Once you get the hang of it it becomes second nature. It's a bit like learning how to ride a bike or drive a car.
I couldn't complete this recently in the TSW4 Training module, I'm sure I had the same issue in TSW3 too. It says apply the the Brakes to see the ER pressure change and equalise, and then all controls go dead and nothing happens.
This is a legacy scenario from CSX:Heavy Haul. There's been changes to the core game that lead to the scenario script waiting for a specific value after applying the brake that never appears.
As I posted here last month, DTG has confirmed this training module should not have been included in TSW4 and is due to be removed.
