I don't know if this has been raised already. On some occasions, the lowest line on the screen is a flickering combination of black and white lines. Like a data transmission of sorts. It happens randomly, maybe with a 20-30% probability. I have encountered it in various services on various routes, with no apparent pattern. PlayStation 4
Update. When I played TSW3 again after a long time, the problem persisted. I then noticed that I had MOTION BLUR deactivated. When I turned motion blur on, the problem disappeared. Hopefully this helps any other users concerned and DTG when identifying the root cause.
Well documented issue in the 1080p mode whenever motion blur is off. I can think of a few potential fixes that have been suggested over time, given the motion blur is a migraine-inducing non-option for many of us.
I´ve seen this with PS4 on my TV. Solution was just to adjust the screen positioning to a little right and and little down, one or two pixle lines.
Did you do this via your display's OSD calibration options or does the PS4 support it at system level?
On the TV Menu (Samsung) is a tab where this can be calibrated. Possibly not every TV has it, I wouldn´t know all of them. But I suppose every more modern TV sets have some form of picture size/ positioning/ aspect ratio adjustment. If I remember correctly, there is even a similar adjustment in the PS4 menu.
It's one thing I have noticed has vanished from PC monitors since they shifted from CRTs where it was pretty easy and necessary to implement, which is what had me wondering.
I don't own any Sony hardware myself past the PS2, which was why I was asking if it was a system level thing or on the display, since the issue is on all platforms.
