Hi all, I purchased the header DLC yesterday evening and Steam advised new content would be installed in that pinky/purple box you get. Sure enough it installed, or said it did, it shows in the DLC list for the game, TSW 3. When I run TSW 3 it takes longer to load with this new DLC ticked and eventually the game is ready to play. I choose the Training Centre and then the MP36PH as it shows in the train thumbnails, click on the train and then just an empty box, no training modules, no routes available etc etc. I've tried verifying game files and cleared the cache, restarted pc and logged back into Steam, same thing. Is this DLC broken or am I missing something? Refund requested for this one.
... and there is a bug in TSW3 that prevents service selection since its release in September 2022. There is a mod to fix it here - https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...by-bullet-cab-car-selectable-in-timetable-fix The train is great, but given DTGs ignorance of this issue, I do not recommend the addon at this time. The issue is noted, but without progress as reported in yesterday's roadmap: Because you know, allowing users to actually USE the purchased product is low priority *sarcasm off*
Thanks for your response, I have Peninsula Corridor . Shame, I was looking forward to trying this. Steam have just refunded.
Cheers for your reply Cael, I've just received the refund on this DLC, I noticed in the refund info it showed me as playing it for 17 minutes !! Jokers aren't they, more like 17 minutes trying to get it to work !! Anyhoo, thanks again for replying and for your fix info, much appreciated.
Pretty sure for “legacy” loco DLCs that aren’t separated from their routes like post-TSW 3 release ones are, you’d access the training modules by going to Choose A Route > Peninsula Corridor > Training, because the training doesn’t take place on the new Training Centre. Once the Baby Bullet selectable bug gets fixed though, I highly recommend purchasing it, it’s a great train to increase variety on Peninsula Corridor.
