Good idea but it should be on all platforms as DTG have never done dlcs for exclusive consoles so why they would do that is more then beyond me.
Voyagers never run to Glasgow for AWC, it's always 390s. Edit: I wasn't really considering special occurrences (like the current Carstairs works) - more thinking about regular day-to-day schedules.
They do if the WCML is shut they run voyagers down the Glasgow South Western via Kilmarnock to Carlisle
Tbh I didn't really think of this kind of thing; but they are very rare in regular, unhindered service. You want to go there?
No not really. Think of it this way, you're new here, you're not up on the etiquette of making route and or loco suggestions (because it's inferred rather than official), you throw something out there and what do you get in return? Smart Alec responses capitalizing on the idea people don't read or look around the forum without offering any pointers. Which is fair to an extent, people don't pay attention and repeat the same things over & over again, a bit annoying. But these people are gonna keep appearing, new players, new to the forum seeking info etc. And why respond at all if you don't wanna help a new poster, do you want to drive them away and keep it an exclusive club for 3000+ posters? Pontificating just because you've been here a while helps no one and just smacks of like farming. I dare say the principal applies to you to given how you were corrected over the Glasgow Super Voyagers, you could've literally googled it yourself before opening your mouth.
I couldn't give a damn how many likes I get, it's not what I want. I've been here many a day and these suggestions are incredibly frustrating because they sit on the same board as some absolutely fantastic ones, not to mention they are utterly pointless. Am I trying to be assertive and push people away? No. Did I look at the posters profile to see if this was his first try? No- and it isn't my job to either. I would make the case that in this criticism I draw attention to the OP that this suggestion is, indeed, not what would be considered a 'good one' - and if they wish to they are more than welcome to inquire as to what a good one is, and I would be happy to help. I always have tried that. The Super Voyagers at Glasgow was - as stated by the others - an irregular move. So it wasn't an inaccurate statement. Also, I did I contest that correction? No. I accepted it. Although, the initial statement of is, in itself, inaccurate - 390s are the primary AWC traction on this route, it's more common to see them than the Voyagers.
Fair statement, the frustration is evident here. Sometimes you see it, users' angst over certain things, it doesn't come across too well but I share the sentiment that you'd want the best ideas to get exposure over lackluster ones (Edit: I feel the same about Creators Club). I mean the end goal is to see them implemented into the game right, so all we can do is try to keep those threads cooking in the mean time? Keeping them in the conscious. Other than that, the reason behind the logic is appreciated.
they did but only because of the works at Carstairs or something so they had to divert via a non electrified route
