I've seen quite a few posts about rail tours on various routes.

How do you get these? Is it specific to a particular route? and what rail tours are there available?

You'll need certain routes such as spirit of steam and br blue routes and locos (ntp, tvl).

Cathcart and SEHS should have a few railtours. Go to the timetable mode and see if you can choose some BR Blue diesels or steam locomotives.

Bakerloo Line also has some static wagons from the vintage BR Blue routes standing around, and there’s even a small chance you can encounter a steam train. Keep an eye out next time you’re on that route!
