This is an issue with the forum and editing a post. Whenever I edit one of my forum posts, I get the following: The following error occurred: Your content can not be submitted. This is likely because your content is spam-like or contains inappropriate elements. Please change your content or try again later. If you still have problems, please contact an administrator. I am trying to edit the lead post of a thread with an update. This happens even if I don't add any content to the post and just edit by removing content. It has happened while trying to edit with multiple devices and on multiple browsers. I have signed in and signed out of the Forum and the issue persists. I am not sure where to post this, so please move it as necessary. Thank you. Edit: Ironically, it did let me edit this post! I still can't edit the lead post of the Awesome Service thread to reflect an update.
The only thing I can imagine is that the spam filter changed since you last updated that post, so now something is on there that never used to be an issue but is now.
I am still unable to edit the lead post of the Awesome TSW Service Mode Runs post. So, I can’t include the date of the last update. Could a moderator please remove the last line of that post? It reads: “Spreadsheets last updated 3/7/23.” This way, I won’t need to update the lead post and I can always add the information back in should the problem get addressed. Thanks!
I noticed that too. Waiting, loggin out and back in helped. That was introduced after the chinese spambot attacks a few weeks ago.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I’ve still had no luck in getting that post edited. I guess there are too many links in the post.
Just happened to me, edited a reply and got the error. I think there is now a limit on how many times a post can be edited, which is why JustWentSouth couldn't edit their's anymore. (BTW I got the error after editing the post a few times. You can try this by editing the same post over and over again, no matter how big or small the change)
I also suspect it has something to do with the number of links in the post. DTG Alex - sorry for the tag, but could you please remove the last line of the original post in the Awesome Service Mode Runs thread? The line reads: “Spreadsheets last updated 3/7/23.” With this removed, I need not worry about editing the post every time I update the spreadsheets. Thank you!
I'm also having this error when trying to edit some of my route suggestion posts to update them with new information. Can we have a dev response on what exactly the updated filter is looking at, so we can remove those parts? P.S. The same issue is preventing me from updating the Japanese route master list with new suggestions. It would be a shame if this unexpected feature ends the very informationally useful efforts by people to run and update master lists across the forums.
