I have noticed that the ACS 64 that comes with this route reacts differently than the one that comes with Boston Sprinter when they are run in this route. One issue is the clearing of an ATC alert when ATC drops your speed. With the Boston 64 as soon as you apply the brake, you can clear the alert. On the New York 64, you can't clear it until the speed drops under the desired speed. Another is when you come out of the west portal of the Hudson tubes, all trains seem to get a spurious ATC signal. With the New York 64 it clear immediately, but with the Boston one, you have to apply the brakes and begin slowing down, then it clears. Yet another, when in clear 150 territory, the New York 64 shows this on the in cab display. The Boston 64 never shows a clear 150, it stays with the clear 125 display at the top. There are others I need to check out, like coming into Trenton, with the New York 64, I get a penalty stop before I can stop at the mark, while the Boston one does not get this.
Hasn't the NYT '64 recently been patched to show the ACSES 125mph max whereas before it was showing 150? This brings it into line with the BPE maximum speed. This loco is rated at 125mph max in revenue service. I haven't noticed any penalty stops on the approach to Trenton, but I have seen that weird signal exciting the Hudson tunnel that temporarily slows you down if you follow it.
The patch did not change the display showing "clear 150". I ran it yesterday to again cross check the 2 motors.
