Because of this ugly unrealistic snow clouds on any freaking meter of the route. IRL(I know, this game doesn't have any IRL stuff, but) this clouds can be seen only when you drive through blizzard or in very low temperatures(like -20 C and below) when snow becomes dry and the wind push it from the ground. Instead of having fun, I get furious and want to put something heavy on the head of whoever added this to the game. I wanna play winter services, but I don't wanna see this isht in any other weather condition except blizzard!
I'm not a fan of those icy wind clouds... especially at night, on fast routes, it's really irritating because the effect looks so unrealistic. It was raised in a stream a few months ago, but tbh compared to some of the bigger issues, I'd be surprised if it was high on the priority list.
Use GodMode mod and drag the "Wind Strength" slider to the left, which will make the snowdrift disappear. This mod is utterly powerful and so easy to use, just drop the pak in the DLC folder and move the mouse to the top of the screen to have the menues pop up. Additional features to realtime weather manipulation are spawning in any vehicle, teleporting, slomo and time acceleration, and realtime manipulation of many game engine variables (do your engine.ini modding in realtime) https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/mods/c3-train-sim-world/c75-utilities/i2703-tsw-god-mode-alpha-022
Such a shame that it only works on Steam and Epic. I so wish that it can be made to work with MS Store/Gamepass also
You mean the Microsoft store PC version the reason why it cannot be done there it has to do to that platform being shared with the Xbox Series X
One feature I love about it is the easy ability to adjust the ambient light - which is often far too bright. Here's an example of a summer's dusk on TVL.
Thank you torfmeister - I thought all the time "God Mode" would require an additional application to run - which isn't the case and using it by moving the coursor to the top is ... just brilliant. Thanks!
