I am just starting to pull Havey loads problem number 1- how Do you move a very Havey train siting on a 0.6% Grade? 2- I am on max power and going uphill the train slows down to stopping poking and I have not touched or changed power from max and then train starts rolling backwards 3- A guy on YouTube mentioned you can add locomotive to your route is this true? If so, how can I do that? thank you
Have you tried stopping at the bottom of the gradient than using max power to cross it and you have it going a fast speed before the gradient so you can go over it.
You first need to turn on banking comm before touching anything. Set up the locomotive as usual. And do a hill start. Independent full, automatic released, throttle to 2 or 3, wait for amps to build up and slowly release independent until you start moving There is a mod over on the tsc website where you can overload your consist with locos only on certain routes. Sherman Hill and cajon are the immediate ones that come to mind.
