So, unsure what the reasoning behind this was, but G-Trax's Boston and Albany Route had its price increased a few days ago. It was released at a reduced price of $29.99 USD, but it was increased to the standard route price of $39.99 a few days ago.

Not sure if it was released at the wrong price or what, but decided to share the news here for anyone still holding off on the route.

Glad I paid £24.99 a few days ago. It’s a nice route but £35 (presumably in GBP), I think not. Of course the DW Alco’s are an eye watering price on the dev’s own site so maybe they decided they wanted a bigger cut. Or maybe the recent TSW price rises now worked through to TSC. Either way, all it means is unless something is primo Day One quality stuff, it just goes in the wish list to wait for 40% or better discount sale. So really, putting the price up kind of shoots this type of optional leisure business in the foot. We all have to buy bread whether it’s 75p or goes up to £1.10, but you don’t have to buy a train sim route.

    I've purchased in on release with 10% off, for €26.99 (£24 / 30 USD)

Now it's €29.99, normal price (32,91 USD) in Germany.

Seems there is huge regional differences in pricing, I've seen some threads on this issue.

The route had a reduced price for launch. Now that this promotion has finished this is now at the standard price in line with similar US route releases.

I'm sorry, but that's codswallop, there already was a launch promotion, it was called the 10% off reduced price for the first week. This price increase is a price hike, call it what it is. I was happy to see the US prices for TS1 DLC finally fall in line with their european counterparts instead of consistently being ~20% higher, shame.

Which equals €35, that's €5 more than the price it is sold in Germany - about 17% higher.

You need friends in Europe who would gift the DLC to you ;)

It's $58.50 Australian Dollars now. That is a lot, it may be about only $2 more than large routes released a while ago (the price for them is usually $56.95) but we are treading awfully close to $60 Australian dollars now and that is a lot of money for me... I should have got the route when it came out as I quite liked the look of this route.

Steam tells me it is £24.99 for me if I were to purchase it today.
Google tells me that is 46.25 AU$, 28.23 Euro.
Not sure why the prices in other countries are more expensive?

If you want the route and know someone in the UK you could get them to gift it to you in exchange for money.
