I wonder if this is a licensing issue slipped through the net or if DTG have this for Corgi.....Looks like Chuck Berry made his way in too. DTG Matt was you aware? Is this intentional? Baker loo line at kenton. I don't believe this one has crept in with a mod.
It's not the only one, we have big Philips and Bauhaus signs on german routes. They have explained it in one of the livestreams.
I also believe that's a David Bowie album at the far left of the same row as Chuck! Time to go through my vinyl collection see what other potential licencing nightmares, cough cough sorry I mean albums are hiding there!! edit: there's also Rumours by Fleetwood Mac, second row,far right
Matt explained that static objects usually don't require licenses like the Philips logo. However, if the people who owned the logo don't want their logo in game, dtg has to remove it. Matt also explained that licenses are required for moving objects.
I have one record from the shop window and that is the Madness single My Girl. I have a hazy memory that I obtained the record and the sleeve separately, the single was from a sale of records removed from jukeboxes but I can’t remember exactly how I got the sleeve, probably from the same place at a later date with a different record in it. This was a long time ago. Blondie’s debut album is also there, on the right.
Do you mean WH Smith, I’m sure their the ones famous for revoking the right to use their brand in TSW, notably at Reading Station on GWE isn’t the rule for others that it’s has to be their in realife, Philips logo is on Hamburg HBf but it would be different matter if they put a Phillips logo on a static product on a platform station somewhere, likewise with billboards.
