Hi, I'm new to TS and have been creating my own route i.e the Wensleydale railway using the Settle Carlisle as the blueprint. I extended the track to Garsdale expecting to see the mainline and join it up but nothing was there. Am I right in saying that as i should have just edited the original route and extended the track through Wensleydale instead of creating a standalone route?
1. Make a clone of the original route 2. Work on that and extend it. The template blueprint only sets the default ground textures, tracks, sky used and the "9" map symbols set taken from SettleCarlisle. Of course you can't see the original mainline as it is not loaded doing it your way.
