Everything i read here suggest that this route in better shape since the updates it has received in the recent months. So does it seem to be working better since then?
Yes, personally I feel the brakes are a bit too keen now but other than that I've had no issues since patches.
Below is the issues highlighted to Rivet on the last roadmap thread for info - Thank you for the reply, there are a couple of threads with the full details but in summary - Rain not showing on windscreens while driving Neutral sections causing cut of power and enforced breaking. This seems quite random in that sometimes it doesn’t happen but regularly does and has only happened since the patch that added the NS signage In timetable mode if you want to stay in control of the service after you have completed the first selected service, TMS announcement does not recognise the new destination, next station or arrive at TMS Announcement does not recognise destinations on Alloa & Dunblane services Announcements - Final destination(Waverley & QS) isnt recognised in This Is announcement PIS doesn’t show correct stations for Alloa & Dunblane services, goes from the final drivable station straight to final Destination Platform PIS cuts off Edinburgh Waverley Timetable - The last service in the game for E&G is 21:44 at either end, but this should be 23:45(44 service start) from both? Adding an additional 4 services in either direction. As an aside the rush hour services that should stop at Lenzie & Bishopbriggs, instead of Linlithgow & Croy aren’t set correctly and just all stop at Linlithgow & Croy. The stopping pattern on services on the hour and half past the hour from Glasgow & Edinburgh between 7:30 & 9:30 in the morning and between 16:30 & 18:30 in the evening (with the additional23:15 fromEdinburgh) should be Lenzie, Bishopbriggs, Falkirk High,Haymarketand vice versa Be nice if we could have an update of when the remaining key issues are going to be looked at though, as they do restrict play quite a bit imo.
Just to add to this - for those who don't know - the platform PIS that displays multiple services should say "Edinburgh" when referencing Edinburgh Waverley. However, the PIS Variant that only shows one service, and it's stops on a changing page, should say Edinburgh Waverley. Because of how the PIS Works in game it's only possible to have one, so Edinburgh would work best. Similar happens with Queen Street. The Platform PIS often calls it "Glasgow QS", but the single-service type calls it Glasgow Queen St / Glasgow Queen Street.
