I prefer playing HUDless. How am I supposed to see the display on the front ? The brightness key on the top doesn't work on this train ( All cab lights & desk lights are off ) Any ideas ?
If the light comes from the front window or the back of the train, lower the blinds (one in the front window and another at the door that leads to the passenger area. Light might still enter thru the side windows, but if that is the case it will not last long because as soon as the train turns slightly to any side the light will stop entering from the small window in the side door. PS: If you ask questions about a service you might want to provide the route, train, service and start time. Took me a bit to figure out it was the 15:20 service to Siegen from the Koln - Aachen route.
If you are on PC (or can plug in a keyboard), you can use the arrow keys to cycle between screens. It is very inconvenient, but it is there.
It is relevant because each route has its own version of the train and many of them can look the same in a picture.
