The ICE T BR 411 and BR 415, which is popular with many people and has a large fan base, can be found in the German public transport system. And if there is a good opportunity to make TSW3 even more varied and realistic, this move could be integrated into the game as an option.

it's a nice move and it wouldn't be the first time it's been in a DTG game.
he would offer to implement it on the tracks.

    Bremen-oldenburg
    augsburg - munich
    hamburg -lübeck

In 2003, the 411 and 415 series trains were modernized to improve the interior and equipment. This update included a new interior, including new seats and armrests, as well as an improvement in the lighting on the train. In addition, the electronic control and safety systems have been updated.

Further improvements were made to the ICE T in 2013 and 2014, including a major modernization of the interior to improve passenger comfort. These updates included new seats, upgraded air conditioning, upgraded audio and visual systems, and upgraded lighting.

I would love to see it too, it's one of my favourite ICE's. Also, this thing was built in 1999!? I would have guessed 2005 at least.

Time to bring it to the game remember there have been DB Baureihe 411/415 ICE-T suggestions for Nahverkehr Dresden since 2021. Best Value combine ICE-T Acela Express and Class 700/0 if BML allows it to be layered there as a Rush Hour Train pack.

The ICE T could be really usefull for many routes. You've already outlined a great list of routes where the ICE T can be seen in real life, and it's likely that many more future routes could make use of it as a layer. Together with the ICE 4 (and ICE 2) it would form the final puzzle piece in German ICEs and bring more ICE variety to all routes.

That’s a good suggestion you made, and it’s something most of the community would love to see.

I Wonder which route would bring the most out of the ICE-T? Or what scenarios could be added with this train?

I suppose Dresden-Riesa would be the most interesting one, but I’m not sure if the route would offer the same tilting fun as the 612 on Dresden-Chemnitz.

Something I would love to see would be the ICE-T included with a new route, which allows to fully use it‘s features.

Well I'm indeed an ICE T Fan, because it has one of the best train sounds I've ever heard, but still wish for more routes and trains the community wishes, including your suggestion Wuppertal-Köln

I have a question to you as an ICE-T fan, which one would be the best addition to the game: the Br 411, the Br 415 or (just for fun) the ICE-T‘s diesel brother, the Br 605 with all its quirkiness and “ reliability “?

I think both the Br 411 and 415 could be a great addition to the game, because both of them are the same train, but have a different amount of coaches, so if they would add this train it would probably be like the ICE 1, so that we can choose from different variants of the train

I somewhat don’t think that both Br 411 and 415 will be included, because there are actually some differences with seat layout and I think one coach on the 411 isn’t in the Br 415. Here’s a link to an website, which shows the seat arrangements on the trains (the ICE-T is a bit down, so you have to scroll a little bit):

Perhaps Mainz-Koblenz can be updated to the 2000s and extended to Frankfurt including the ICE-T.

In reality, as a train driver trainee, I have already driven this vehicle in the driver's cab several times. I have to say, even if he's not the fastest or the strongest. It's one of my absolute favorite vehicles in our fleet. That would make me even happier to have the T in TSW.

PS: I have attached the layout of both trains in the appendix

...nice to hear that real train drivers also play TSW. I think when you have driven a real train yourself, you can judge the simulation best. The ICE T will surely come for TSW3, since the ICE3 in Dresden or Hamburg only serves as a placeholder.

BTW: Great idea with the appropriate info material in PDF format!

I'm still a trainee, but yes I love my job but I'm still learning. But I can say that TSW unfortunately does not come close to reality in many respects. But I can absolutely understand that, because the railway is something very complex.
