I think dovetail games should add this to scenario planner as it will give players more options especially if they want to make their own timetable eg in west somerset railway. Another reason why this should be added in is because all the other locos eg the class 33 have coaches with them but these locos eg the class 20 don't.
The 31 does get used for some passenger services in Diesel Legends. I would assume (but haven't checked) that you can use those formations in Scenario Planner. If not, that would be something obvious to improve. Better yet would be the ability to build our own train formations, only limited to mutually compatible stock.
The issue surrounding this has apparently been solved (it was the game being unable to read if you had the coaches & loco DLC, since all these formations would be made up of stock from different DLC’s). Matt has already made a thread discussing it, and is looking for community feedback on the types of consists they’d like to see.
Hopefully we see it soon. I’m sure it’s not a priority for them but surely it can’t be too time consuming either?
I was hoping we’d of seen it by now, but then we’re still waiting on that second batch of company logo’s for the Livery Designer. I’m gonna go ahead and say we’ll be waiting years, not months for stuff like this.
I started it, and the machine I was doing it all on died. Then I got busy with fixes for Spirit of Steam so it took a back seat. I'll get back to it - not forgotten
