    Hello engineers.
Once upon a time, when I was just starting to ride trains, I was decidedly not satisfied with mouse and keyboard control. As a result, with experience, I have come to a somewhat universal, in my opinion, device configuration, which will greatly improve my gaming experience.
I would like to share my own management setup that I use on my devices. This allows minimal use of the mouse and keyboard when controlling the train. Maybe someone has a similar device or any others.
In any case, it's just an exchange of experience.

To implement such a setup, I use the program JoyToKey or similar. I recommend this one, as I use it in a lot of other simulators and with other devices. It can be downloaded for free, for review and later purchased (only $ 7). bandicam 2023-05-10 18-06-14-625.png

Of course, the simulator's support for devices other than Raildriver would greatly improve the situation for users, but unfortunately we have to improvise)

I experimented with Saitek X56 devices, but eventually settled on HEAVY EQUIPMENT SIDE PANEL
and my old Logitech G27 steering wheel. I certainly don't use the steering wheel myself.

It is possible that I will help someone who is in search, like me, once. In any case, you also can share your device settings.

Unfortunately, it is currently impossible to configure the axes directly. Except for Raildriver.
