There are 3 routes* to my knowledge with their category set to the wrong region. They are all filtered as 'Other' when they should be Germany & USA Bahnstrecke Bremen - Oldenburg Linke Rheinstrecke: Mainz - Koblenz NEC: New York - Trenton * I can understand LGV being stuck in Other as there is no France filter. Im sure this is a straight forward fix and I do not know how it is seemingly always overlooked in QA, all 3 routes have also had post release patches and it is still being ignored. This issue while seemingly trivial in the grand scheme of things still irks me every time I go to choose a route and utilise the filters. This only seems to be affecting the DTG releases since BCC, the 3rd party ones are fine. It makes me think this is just going to keep happening to the DTG routes going foward and I thought maybe flagging this now will also fix it for all future DTG releases so the team are aware of it ?
risky potentially controversial mistake to make , but last I checked it does. edit: though i think remember Training Center being in the German Tag before, so maybe that’s moved since or I got that wrong.
That would make sense though as the real-life location of the Training Center (Siemens Wegberg-Wildenrath Test and Validation Centre) is in Germany, albeit not with the mountain backdrop that the in-game version has.
It seems like another missed opportunity in the last round of updates to fix the filters for various routes: Linke Rheinstrecke filtered under 'Other' -> Needs to be Germany Luzern - Sursee filtered under 'Germany' -> Needs to be Other Bahnstrecke Bremen - Oldenburg filtered under 'Other' -> Needs to be Germany Peak Forest filtered under 'Other' -> Needs to be United Kingdom Along with the other existing routes with incorrect filters: NEC: New York - Trenton filtered under 'Other' -> Needs to be USA Island Line 2022 filtered under 'Other' -> Needs to be United Kingdom Holiday Express filtered under 'USA' -> Needs to be Other (maybe?) Loco Filters: Class 484 filtered under 'Other' -> Needs to be United Kingdom Honestly DTG....just remove the filters feature from the game if they are not going to be utilised correctly
Here are all the routes in the other section some are wrong Well holiday express is based of an 1980's christmas in USA so maybe it fits in the US section?
Interestingly, my NEC: Boston route is still named 'Boston Sprinter' and is filtered correctly under USA I can see you are running the PC version as I am (i'm on Steam...possibly you are running the Epic or Gamepass version ? )
I just installed it ('Improved Route Image Thumbnails') and It breaks the US filter for Boston Sprinter. It may break the filters for other routes as well but I haven't checked
