And you occasionally get 158 + 150 consists.

I believe Rivet Games did not set up the correct coupling properties for the Class 150 and instead used a custom made version. This is why it doesn't couple with the 158 as in game, both trains have a totally different coupling setup.

And this is one of MANY reasons why we have learnt to not buy or trust Rivet with any product that they produce for this Game/Sim.

Just a quick one from me guys, just to let you know I am hoping to update you all later today, with service info and other progress. Once I have checked in with the teams.

Hope you are all having a great week (I am loving Peak Forest out of work hours!)

I just wanted to add my voice to the steadily growing crowd. While I have no connection to the route I grew up travelling on HSTs which was the reasoning behind getting this add-on. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the longer term plans for this route come to fruition, but even with what’s being worked on with the upcoming patch(es) I think you could have something quite special here.
Having driven both the HST and 158 now they are both a pleasure to drive, the sounds and the physics make them feel so real.
Thank you to you and the team for your hard work so far and for what’s to come.

Shame you can't have a look at that routes timetable after MML! :)

I am not involved in Peak Forest, except for the sheer fun of it outside of work. I am purely in the fan camp :)

    Good morning
I don't know where to ask my question, concerning MML, and the mastery.
    I try here.
I have completed the mastery of MML, but I do not get the thumbnail to check for the reward.
Am I the only one in this situation? Does this problem only blame DTG.
    Thank you for your lights.

The Mastery section of the GUI seems to be a bit glitchy in general. Restart the game and you should see it there.

No, it's been more than 10 days, and I restart the game every day, and nothing comes.
I even logged out of Live and back in, but nothing.
    Thanks anyway.

It's obvious a patch is on the horizon and not still being worked on? Do you have a date? Maybe the upcoming lottery numbers as well?

Um, no... I was backing your corner. I meant it was fairly obvious to me that you were referring to MML in your question, not Peak Forest... But I also thought this was fairly obvious because I was replying to your apology lol

Well, I look like an idiot lol. Sorry my bad, not an excuse but I'm on my third twelve hour shift in three days with a pounding head so I completely misread it. My apologies.

I’m enjoying the route so far and looking forward to the patch! I’ve barely scratched the service and need to get to know the line, but everything I’ve seen so far from Jane on here suggests we are going to be pleased when the update is out!

Something ive noticed with the 158 is sometimes when you view the train from the 1 or 2 cam when you're driving you can see the passengers however on the 2 cam theres some magic at play as the train is empty.

Unsure if this has been mentioned. When using custom liveries on the HST, a lot of the windows that are blocked out on the EMT livery are transparent.

Additionally, if you use custom liveries with high snow settings, the power cars spawn completely covered in snow :D 20230512021427_1.jpg

Hi Jane, I mentioned a few weeks ago that you can't sit down as a passenger in any of the HST seats, I have also just found out its happening on the Railtours aswell. Not a single seat is able to be sat down on and ride the train as a passenger.

The whole route is sloppy workmanship to be honest. That's why they are having to patch the hell out of it!

But at least they are patching it. Still no update for the awful West Cornwall route and the 150...

To be fair guys, I think ‘rushed’ is probably more apt. Why it was rushed we’ll never know, although I suspect we can all make an educated guess…

This isn't just an MML thing. Passengers often unrender when Camera 2 is far away from the train. Try pressing the up arrow and see if the passengers start rendering as you get closer.

Edit: just tested it on CCL, and sure enough, the passengers would appear/disappear based on Cam 2's distance from the train.

morning yes we are looking in to this. I have seen reports it is also an issue on other routes with different rolling stock. We are working with DTG and our tech team to resolve.

I would be grateful please if this thread could be kept civil. The team have worked mega hard on this route for a long time now and have always done their best. They really care and are putting in a huge effort on updates and fixes (adding new stuff too). I think calling the team sloppy is quite unfair to be honest.

This happens on all MK2's, it had been reported to DTG months ago and was acknowledged, hopefully you and your team can kick some butts and finally get DTG to resolve this issue on the MK2's! ;)

Ever thought that "speaking your mind" doesn't ever help situations and usually just makes this worse?
That isn't sugar coating, that's just aggressive negativity, under the "ruse" of an opinion.

Jane and the Skyhook team have done incredibly well on the base product alone and this patch will be to an insanely high standard.

There is no need to try to shut down people who are dissatisfied with the current state of the route. The best way to silence criticism is to improve its quality, and certainly not with these passive-aggressive phrases like "I would be grateful please if the thread could be kept civil." A customer calling a missing switch "sloppy" isn't not civil, it's just what it is. And criticising the team's workmanship isn't "unfair," when there's a screenshot proving it right there. Far from being "unfair," I don't think you can get more constructive than that.

Unfortunate as it may be, until the patch is released, you'll probably encounter criticism. Yes, it might feel bad to see your team working hard on fixing the route, only to simultaneously see their workmanship being called into question here. Please understand, however, that while you are seeing the fruits of their labor real-time, day-after-day, we are not. We are only seeing a few screenshots, so whatever the scope of the improvements is, an ordinary forum user isn't fully aware of it. That doesn't mean the work isn't appreciated. It's just hard to appreciate it fully when the results are much less apparent to us than they are to you. So until said results are released to the public, you should expect a certain disconnect between what you're seeing internally and what we're reacting to. Hell, maybe the switch isn't even missing anymore :)

Nah, Jane assurred us before in no uncertain terms that they, quote, "didn't rush anything out." Please believe the corporate representative instead of your lying eyes.

Yes it is in the dictionary next to rancorous!

Speaking your mind can be a very good thing but when you are insulting people by making assumptions, maybe not so!
