PC Ice 3 Pzb

When I try to stop ICE3 at a station from TSW2, I suddenly get a 500 Hz signal and force it to stop. What should I do?

 

When you get a 500, you slow down to 20kmh. There's a whole tutorial on pzb if you look it up on YouTube

 

If you look at this table, you can see how much time and distance you have to get to 20 km/h. (The ICE, as a passenger train, uses mode O).

Once you're ready to depart, the 500 Hz magnet is still active. You need to stick to the 20 km/h speed limit until you pass the signal; then, the red 500 Hz light will go out and you can accelerate. Note that now a 45 km/h limit may be active, from which you can usually release yourself by pressing PZB free (end key on PC).

 

Force stop even though the speed has been reduced to less than 20 km/h before reaching 500 Hz.

 

You can get a Zwangsbremsung if you release PZB before an active 500 Hz magnet.

And in TSW3, enabling the Safety System helper, it warns you if it's unsafe to release PZB to avoid an upcoming 500 Hz Zwangsbremsung, which is to avoid a SPAD.
