Wish These Routes Would Come To Tsw3

Discussion in 'TSW General Discussion' started by SD40Australia, May 13, 2023.

  1. As these are some of my favourites (yes there are others like London Peterborough and Portsmouth etc)

Berlin Wittenberg (the fine detail in this scenery is amazing!!)
GEML Ipswich with those branches one of the finest DLC for TSC!
    West Coast over Shap
Western Lines of Scotland (this would be a great steam for TSW3, adding to the new one just released)

    Then a few more

    West Coast over Trent
North London Lines and South too...

    But the biggest is

The new one by Union Workshop.

    Ueno Omiya lines.

In TSW3 it seems the German routes are some of the most polished while I have never had a problem with the UK routes although recently there was some issues. But I didn't have a problem.

The launch of TSW3 last year has been the biggest thing ever seen for Train simulation in the world.

Cajon Pass route is so realistic and the length of the High Speed German route...

It contained Steam as well and the Faversham route.

There is an unofficial editor currently. Not sure there is a planned release for an official one in future. It's getting there I guess.

With the Wittenberg route I haven't bought the 'extension' yet. Though I have always been interested in that one.

Probably best to post this in the TSW forums :)

  3. Yes but since it's based on TSC I thought an honorary post would suffice......

Yet another poster that can't get their head around the fact that even though it's the same developer it's a very different game with a very different community.

The two forums are separate for a very good reason

Berlin-Wittenberg is very much outdated. Get Berlin-Leipzig, which is technically a standalone route containing B-Wittenberg, but massively improved. I think the old one didn't even have LZB or PZB - I wonder why they still sell it on Steam.

Berlin Leipzig, is an extension of Berlin Wittenberg. (And Seddin freight is yet an extension that requires both)

No. Berlin-Leipzig is standalone, you do not need the old route to Wittenberg as it is fully included and improved. Also Seddin does not require both.

I think TSW3 will be abandoned like TSW2.
It's impossible for TSW3 to create route with reasonable length.
Lack of trains, too expensive, and full of stutter.
Buying new TSW DLC can't upgrade old ones. TSC requires too much DLC.

Would love to see GEML done for the period around 2020 - so much variety in rolling stock with Greater Anglia back then, along with London Overground new stock.
