Pleased to see this sale is to everyone not just game pass players. I just need Horseshoe Curve in xbox for a full xbox and steam set. Last month Horseshoe Curve was on sale to game pass users only so hopefully it soon will appear on sale for everyone. I continue to play it on steam for the present!!!
WCL was one I had been waiting to come on sale for, especially with the steam add-on available for it.
Great to see some sales coming through, got them all on the list but will keep an eye out if theirs more to come soon.
Got all these already on XBox but hopefully some of the more recent routes will be on sale at some point. I've got all TSW DLCs on PC so can't complain, but hey-ho, sometimes it's nice to chill and be a couch potato console player.
The current sale ends in six days time. If it’s like their previous summer sale, they might continue for a couple more weeks with different content every week. Put what you need in your wish list and you will receive a notification when it’s on sale.
Taken from the listing for WCL 11.15am 17/5/23 Dovetail Games • Other • Simulation £24.99 now £13.74 On sale: save £11.25, ends in 5 days Seems a good price for the routes offered but please be aware that West Cornwall Local is full of inaccuracies both to the loco and scenery and IMO DTG should have offered this for free, rather that the LGV as WCL really is not worth the money even at 45% off, unless of course you do not know the area. To local residents, WCL represents more of a fantasy route rather than the real route itself.
Isn't buying on Steam redundant if you buy on Xbox? I know any route I buy on the console is added to Xbox PC as well. Just sign in on the Xbox app with the same account you use on on your console.
Got two of them so far BML and NEC Boston. In my post, I have a question between WCL Cornish Main Line Penzance St Austell or Tees Valley Line to get from this Mini Sale.
Purchase TV and leave WCL alone, scenically it’s an awful route, so many inaccuracies, the locals are amazed with Rivets fantasyland. TV is a great route and worth the discount. Wait to buy WCL when it’s a fiver!!!
Have to (mostly) disagree with this. If you own other UK routes then there's considerably more than just the one loco to drive up and down the 40-odd miles of track. Also, if you don't know what the route looks like in the real world then you're not even going to be aware of scenery inaccuracies, so there's a reasonable chance you'll just take it for what it is....and not what it should have been. I personally don't have a problem with WCL and think it's more than worth the current sale price.
