Not sure if this has already been raised here. Have noticed that if you have the ATC active you're forced to do 15 from the points east of Garden City until a good 700 yards after the platform despite the line speed being much higher. This will then always make you late for the rest of the trip into Atlantic/Penn.

I have this too, what I'd do is turn off ATC from this point until you get past the Speed Limit restriction then turn it back on, also for me, before you arrive in the platform at New York Penn, UE4 will crash.

Almost like a run out of memory issue and upon reloading it works fine!

Cheers, so kill it at Country Life Press and turn it back on upon departure from Garden City then?

Yes I would, Just until it's clear because you can never make up time unless you floor it after each station but that's not realistic

Did a test run last night (22:10 Hempstead - Atlantic), turned off the ATC at CLP and back on at Nassau Boulevard and made it on time. Seems like the best workaround for now, might lodge a support ticket. Cheers :)

I actually don't mind it most of the time, heaps better than the one on the ACS64 which forces you to do 20 all the way through the Hudson and East River tunnels...

And when you switch it off it still activates the emergency brakes. Yes that was my hang up last night, I was like is it going to recognise its clear

Yeah, ran into that issue myself, particularly frustrating as it makes you about a good 7/8 mins late into Newark. Eventually just gave up and didn't bother switching it on, it's good fun to drive now, haha :)

Yeah, that is pretty maddening. I was hoping they'd address that in either the Autumn or Winter updates we just got but no luck. I wonder if DTG has given up on patching NEC any further.

So, in reality, does ACS64 go through those river tunnels 20 mph or 60 mph? I'm confused because I'm learning about trains, and sometimes is really hard to tell if something is a bug in the game or I'm doing it wrong.
Because the hud says 60, but atc says 20, and when I keep atc on, I can't make it on time.

Have a feeling that it's 60 given that you're able to hook it on LIRR until you hit the station limits. Pretty sure Matt P acknowledged there was an issue in one of his videos, hopefully there's a patch soon.

Thanks. Also, is there any more detailed manual explaining the displays in ACS64? Some functions like brightness, night/day etc. are obvious, but it has many functions and buttons. Are they just decorative or do they do anything? Official manual is not very helpful.

This is supposed to happen. ATC will update at the next code change point.
