Any ideas if the new fixes will contain paths to the Barrow Rail Head? And the Ratcliffe Power Station? Barrow will be ballast and rocks for roads I believe. Up to 10 trains a day. Unsure about the coal services to Ratcliffe though.
They were added in order to "future proof" the route for additional DLC or services. As far as I understand, the areas would need texture passes to bring them upto standard before use. So, long story short, Unlikely without a DLC freight loco? But I guess we'll have to wait and see.
It's funny I used to drive the Prospector and actually hated it but in TSW3 the 158 is similar and I enjoy it. Although I have been doing the HST too. Can't wait for GEML Ipswich and hopefully all the way to Norwich with branches (what led me to write this is the HST and thus Class 90s...... I had a 225 Intercity Horny trainset LOL!). Sorry got sidetracked ROFL I made a scenario with the Class 66 (same prime mover SD40 as in my profile pic) on the route. The Prospector is basically a rail bus (although touted as a train LOL) and could do 140kph, a 630km trip from Perth to Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. But the 158 is not dissimilar.... There is now a new train that does it but I don't think it makes any money. The new one....
