    Hi, DTG team
Do you have plans about to release a performance optimization patch, specially focusing on the stuttering issue ?
After the last update, the stuttering are even more intensive, breaking all the experiece of a true simulation, specially on the Southeastern High Speed route. The scenery loading is more intese, making the simulation very stuttered.
Not to mention about other routes, like Cajon Pass, that also suffers from the same problem.
Any suggestions besides the ones already mentioned in other topics such as texture streaming? (r.texturestreaming=0).
    thanks !

  2. On desktop click nvidia settings and set to performance. Power for example, use max performance.
Also if allow screen tearing it will improve performance. Less quality, less stutters.

  3. Not sure when. Maybe TSW6?

They never said that. I don't know where you are getting your rumors from but it's wrong. They can't just turn it on with a click of a button and expect it to magically work with every single dlc. If you think any of this is easy, try it yourself. The move from tsw2020 to tsw2 was difficult enough even though it was still ue4. 4.17 to 4.23 was a massive jump and caused lots of headaches. How can dtg possibly make ue5 work across 70+ dlcs in less than 3 months. So stop with your obsession with ue5. It's not going to happen.

Heck, the TSW2-only three-point upgrade from 4.23 to 4.26 caused lots of headaches. UE is a complex beast.

No doubt they'll move to UE5 someday, but I think they've said that they're happy to let the big studios beat it into submission first. It's only a year old, after all.

  6. and u call aerosoft a big studio do you lol OKAY then!!! thats the mob that does the sim known as THE BUS they moved from unreal 4 to 5 and its only in beta stage so u guys keep thinking that this downtime is just to fix issues when its clear they working on the core for this year it happens every year we get a down time zone of 4 to 6 weeks of just zzz and why do u think dovetail have been so zzz this last 4 weeks its clear to me and simple that u guys are not hardcore like i am gigging into the deep end anyway thats all from me don't think im having a go at u all i am just someone that wants to see this game at long last stop being done in a bad way where we keep getting rushed releases and half done jobs not even sometimes moving to a new engine will be great for all and i think if done right in a beta stage just like DX12 is for TSC will go along way to a better TSW4 Launch

You can't compare the 2 studios. The Bus is just 1 map. Assuming dtg wants to port everything to ue5, that's over 70 pieces of dlc. How does 1 compare to 70? What does the workings of 1 studio have to do with the workings of another studio? If that's not the case, then dtg would use ue5 as a way to reboot tsw which you would still complain cuz no content would port over. Dtg have explained numerous times ue5 won't happen any time soon and they will wait until much more studios get their hands on it. Nothing is easy. The head of the then preservation crew who has switched jobs now explained the big headaches it caused upgrading from 4.17 to 4.23 for all the dlc that ported over. What makes you think moving to ue5 is easier. It sounds like you think the devs can just press a button and boom it works.
