Will/could the Class 700 be added to other existing TSW routes, namely London Commuter obviously following much-needed optimisation for the route?
Why is there no mention of a sound fix for the Rivet 1938 stock, in respect of the fact it is silent when coasting or braking? When can we expect the JT route and motive power to be revealed?
I hadn't included it in the summary, but having looked at the list there are some improvements to 1938 Stock audio. Apologies - 300-odd patches tomorrow, so picking a headlines list proved challenging!
Thank you JD. Both for your involvement in tonight’s stream and time-stamping it for tomorrow. Really appreciate it.
Thank you for the team for all the hard work. really appreciate it. Can wait for all the fixes and future content
A few questions, I posted these in another thread, but I'll add them here. These are all regarding New York - Trenton: 1. Will NJT trains use Track 5 at Trenton? 2. Will NJT trains turn at Trenton? For example, a westbound train crosses from 4 to 1 at HAM interlocking to access "Track 2" & then change ends. Or a westbound train arriving on 5, changing ends and then crossing from 4 to 1 at HAM interlocking to head east. I know the majority of NJT trains discharge passengers then go to Morrisville, but there are a handful that turn at the platforms. I think the inclusion of Track 5 will be imperative to prevent pileups at FAIR & HAM Interlocking. There are a few services where you have to wait for a train to stop on 4 before you can platform. This happens in real life, but it's typically because 5 is occupied by a SEPTA train. Since SEPTA isn't in this game, I think 5 should be made available. 3. Will there be protect locomotives near NYP? In real life there's normally a P32AC-DM & a ACS-64 coupled together near what looks like Track 5 or so. Obviously the P32 won't be in this game. 4. Will NJT trains utilize "A Yard" near NYP? It's the area of tracks immediately west of 1-5, near & around the Empire Connection tunnel. Here's a detailed map, on Page 65. There are also Amtrak MOW vehicles / trains in that area too in real life. 5. In real life westbound Amtrak trains that skip NBK but stop at PJC typically use COUNTY interlocking (45 MPH MAS) and not DELCO interlocking (80 MPH MAS). I know those two interlockings are right next to eachother, but are there plans for more Amtrak trains to actually diverge at COUNTY? 6. Will Midway & Lincoln have more diverging movements? 7. Will Track A see more use at Newark Penn? Ideas for Secaucus & Surrounding Interlockings Increased use of ALLIED, ERIE, LACK & PORTAL Interlockings. Mainly the use of Track A between ALLIED & ERIE, and LACK & PORTAL. Having NJT revenue trains utilize ALL 4 tracks at Secaucus Upper. Currently all NJT revenue services serving Secaucus in the game only use A & B, when in reality they use 3 and 2 as well, ideally when there isn't a train directly behind them. Here are few photos of NJT trains utilizing the various tracks at Secaucus in real life: https://www.railpictures.net/photo/813392/ https://www.railpictures.net/photo/814359/ I'm all for the upgrades and additional trains. My biggest concern is the propensity for the AI trains to pile up and freeze like they did at Mott Haven Junction on the Harlem Line, ESPECIALLY if there was a path issue. Increasing the use of Track A along with 3 & 2 at Secaucus for NJT would be pretty important in preventing bottlenecks between revenue trains, non revenue trains & Amtrak trains. I think there may be a need for more diverging moves. Even dynamic ones, for example, if a westbound Amtrak is "supposed" to use 3 at Newark Penn, but it's occupied, if possible could it be diverted to 4 and switched back to 3 at CLIFF or HUNTER interlocking? Or even LANE?
