Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition
This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG.
Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition.
    Rules:
    • TSC only shots allowed.
    • Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes.
    • You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish.
    • 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory.
    • Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves).
    • The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge).
    • The Judge of the week's decision is final.
    • We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so.
    • Please keep chat to an absolute minimum.
Entries will close at 9:00 PM GMT on Friday, June 9th and will be judged by me - cscarpenter

In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 5:00 PM GMT Sunday, June 11th, a new thread will be created using the theme with the highest votes in this weeks poll.
Theme for this week : "Colourful".

Feel free to interpret the theme however you wish.
Good luck to all, but most importantly, remember to have fun.

20230604200546_1.jpg The "Travel The Swiss Way" livery certainly made for a pretty colourful Class 319.

Much colour to be seen on the streets of Italy, just south of the border of Switzerland. The wonderful plants and flowers seen to be growing at this coffee store, the distant green mountains, the Italian Flag, the extravagant cars such as a yellow Lamborghini and even things like the teal umbrellas of the tables of the cafe and of course we cannot forget Rhaetian Railway ABe 8/12 '3510' 'Alberto Giacometti' making it's way down the street after departing from Tirano northbound for Switzerland.

    Loco: Rhaetian Railway ABe 8/12
Route: Bernina Line: Poschiavo - Tirano

I wish it wouldn't be as pixelated as it is. I kept it because funny. It's not impossible the stripe on the train is painted with tomato pigments.

    Wow, thank you cscarpenter! :)
Many good & great shots offered. Will have to see who else I'm congratulating ;)
You might / could just describe the posts. We had the same issue a few weeks back. Maybe after the attack a few months ago, admins restricted the forums a bit. It was recommended to just download and repost the pictures. Might be able to simply reference them. This might also be a nudge to just select top 3, that should fly.

Congratulations triznya.andras for the 1st place win!

Also what is going on with the game currently? I am just curious as to where the complaints are coming from here. Yes there was a core update a month or two ago now that was quite buggy but wasn't that all fixed with an update just the other day so shouldn't it be fine now? Either way it is frustrating but unfortunately a necessary step we must take to make sure we can play this game for years to come, I still do have some cautious optimism though.

I have no idea. Being as vocal as I am, maybe DTG made sure to please specifically me. I have no problems whatsoever with the patches.
Might be better to keep this convo in its dedicated thread, even though we're below the finish line here so whatever.
What surprises me though is the lack of participation in the official competition. Right now that's like a unit test. Sure, salt & pepper, but still.

Most likely because of the large amount of links the automated filtering mistook your post for spam. No worries, I rocked up to my PC and approved the message for you. Have a nice weekend!

That is what is most annoying, I simply copy and pasted the already accepted images with just simple descriptive text the same as we have done for the past two years, but for some unknown reason we now we have to wait for moderator approval.

Thanks for that, much appreciated, I have deleted my rant accordingly.
Just out of interest, does a simple Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V now flag up as multiple links as I have used that practice week in week out for years in this thread with no problem?
Again thanks for your speedy response, last time this happened we had to wait till the following Monday for a resolution.
