The add on possible pending release could it be sooner then later? It just popped up as possibly soon to be available in the xbox store. Note There a few pics including the 323 official livery.
I cannot see a price or a stipulation that you have to have BCC which i have. https://www.xbox.com/en-gb/games/st...line-manchester-hadfield-glossop/9nmzpjz003d8 Could you please supply a link to the price.
Thank you 1dart Mart. I have noticed now that it says Save 10% on Glossop Line if you own or purchase Birmingham Cross-City Line - get the ultimate Hyper Networker experience with this limited-time offer! Will keep an eye on it as it says limited offer so probably £17.99 prior to launch which possibly will be Tuesday 20th or 27th June, as DTG say late end of the month, more likely 27th.
Happy to help buddy. I’m making a note in my reminders for the release date, as you say probably 27th knowing DTG. Cheers
I like what I'm seeing in general, but hope there will be enough layers to fill Manchester. I hate ghost stations.
It should be. The store description only mentions the BCC discount, but the Game Pass discount should apply regardless, so I would imagine that cuts it down to £15.99 (20% off) or ~£16.29 (10% off, then 10% off). Of course, a cheap (and hopefully good) route regardless of what plays out.
Screenshot in the other thread seems to indicate it will be another Glasgow Central or Birmingham New Street.
Hopefully a portion of the WCML isn’t too far down the tracks like Birmingham or Manchester to Crewe incorporating Avanti WC and or XCountry (as well as Northern or West Midlands for commuter services) so the stock can be used to fill out Birmingham New Street, Piccadilly, Glasgow Central and Edinburgh… needs to happen
This isn't any kind of serious saving,i mean if you don't have BCC and just want a 323 for example you can only save 10% by buying one full price route to save 10% on another.Since when do you need to own one route to get a discount on another route.
Excellent idea, we could have the class 390 as the new train and the class 323 as the returning train and maybe in the future we could have a class 220/221 as a loco dlc (if the Crosscountry licence can ever be obtained of course)
You wouldn't get a discount otherwise, so it's a nice way of cutting the price as a reward to people who bought BCC (saying as Glossop reuses the 323) It's only £2 off, so I doubt anyone is going to go any spend £30 for BCC just to get that £2 off.
Well for those of us on xbox one/series we haven't got a 10% discount in aloonnnggg while. So i guess we aren't losing any more then normal.
Shocking fact for you. 1 Not everyone may own BCC. 2.Not everyone may own Gamepass. Gamepass gets alot of hype doesn't mean everyone will want it.
This is leaked info from the Xbox store. It has no info on what is going to happen in the Steam store, one way or the other. We have to wait and see.
One: Drop the sarcasm. I didn't say everyone does have it. But you're complaining that people get a discount - because they're paying for a similar product - and you feel a form of injustice because of that? Get a grip, man.
No more then the injustice of almost every release being prebroken and wondering if and when it will ever be fixed. There's alot wrong with alot of things in this game and it just seems like the players/purchaser come out on the losing end more offen then not.As a person on a xbox i feel like the least cared about system owner class.PC and playstation owners get all the perks and we have to buy a ridiculous extra to even be in the same zip code.
As a fellow person on Xbox, I totally disagree. In fact, I'd go so far to say you're talking a load of LOVE. Ok, your other point is fair. Some DLCs aren't as good as they should be. You're right to raise that point. But to suggest that Xbox is shafted is nonsense. DTG have said plenty of times that sales are largely down to Microsoft (which is pretty accurate as far as I can tell), whereas PS and Steam are more liberal with theirs. We do, however, get the 10% Game Pass discount, which applies to many players and is welcome. Fun Fact: Not getting things at discounted rates isn't an injustice.
Your opinion of the issue is valid true but that doesn't mean no one else can feel different.I do. You value gamepass for it's perks. I already pony up 60.00 bucks a year for xbox live. One shouldn't have to futher pony up for gamepass to get TSW discounts.
You don't have to. Discounts are just a little bit of a bonus. Discounts aren't your god-given right. You get them if you're lucky. Game Pass users were granted them (and for many other games), as something of a reward for forking out the money for GP + Gold or GPU.
Funny you should mention bonus because dispite my unhappiness with the whole gamepass issue,i have discovered at least 2 other ways to save a few bucks on tsw dlc (and no i don't mean not buying any) but that doesn't mean there easy or can be done offen. And before you ask yes they are total legal and maybe someday i'll share them, but not now.Sometimes one has to think outside the box to get something done.
You've either bought a key online or changed your region. Well done, want a medal? I would suggest you used Microsoft Rewards but you don't use Gamepass.
I don't have a PC so whatever this key buying thing is,no idea. As for changing regions,i have heard of it but even if i knew how, i heard dlc purchased that way won't work when you switch back.So that's a useless option for me.
I’ve never thought for me personally game pass to be worth the price, maybes if you’re someone who plays well over 30 games costing quite a pretty penny then it may have more value, or if you purchase a lot of games per month for the discount to make up the price of GamePass. but for me when it comes to games, I probably get a want for new release game (one that catches my attention) every several months ish, then whether it would appear on game pass is another question. It’s like for me you can pay is it £12? And not have to fork for a new £60 game that’s on it, but in less than 6 months you could have purchased it cheaper… and if you just for one month cancel after say a fair 5-8 months then theirs £50-80 what got you access to a game and stuff for just a limited time, nothing more. that’s just my view on GamePass and entirely from my perspective and purchasing usuals.
If you joined Xbox rewards you could do all of the quests and searches and have gamepass plus its benefits and pay absolutely nothing for it!
And usually have enough points left over each month for at least a £5 voucher which makes the DLC even cheaper.
Just an update on this - we'll have an article detailing costs/discount(s) of Glossop (and other bits and pieces), aiming for this afternoon.
Until right now - It's coming out June 27th! Read our Glossop Coming Soon article for all the details: https://live.dovetailgames.com/live/train-sim-world/articles/article/glossop-line-coming-27th-june
Interesting article and it looks good value for £20 and I like the loyalty bonus, it is a nice gesture. Looking forward to this.
