    As the title suggests really.
Lately, the trophies obtained from dlc releases (route tasks/training mods/complete x scenario) are far too easy to get.
Please can you look at changing them, maybe to route level/loco level/all scenarios completed/ x amount of services etc.
It makes the dlc's more re-playable than just a 2 hour stint.
I know this probably affects a minority and it doesn't necessarily bother other players, but non the less, would like it to be brought up and considered.

It's not only the trophies. I'm probably the lousiest driver playing this game and still I have a trophy cabinet of gold medals telling me otherwise

Oh look ..... a gold medal as reward for totally reckless driving.

Have to agree with that. I drove a 158 service last night, missed some speed limit drops, overran a couple of stops and still scored " gold ".

The scoring system is completely serendipitous, not that I care much anyway, but it's laughable.

And there's too much slack in the timetable. It was my first run in the 158, so I spent far too much time fiddling with lights and safety systems and started very late. My timing was way off at all the stops, but, miraculously, I arrived at Nottingham bang on time. Go figure.

I would have been fired my first day on the job!! :D

I much preferred TSC's scoring system where the highest score you could get was always 1000. It gave a much clearer assessment than TSW's system.

Has there ever been any discussion why they didn't ape the scoring system of TSC?
The system in TSW might as well not exist, you can drive like a complete tool and still get a 'gold'.

TSCs scoring system was absolutely the worst, especially with ridiculous timetables encouraging you to go 0.9mph above the speed limit and race like an reckless idiot.

Glad to see TSW is, in general, more forgiving, although some timetables seem to be extremely tight whereas others have minutes leeway. Not that I care about the scoring system too much, at least it doesn't encourage recklessness like TSC did.

That's not a fault of the scoring system, that's a fault of the timetables.

I think I agree tbh but I guess I understand why it’s there.

The scoring system is there for the folks who need a little “gamification”… it makes the game replayable for a lot of gamers. Nothing wrong with that.

Whereas the more simulator minded folks can just ignore the points and medals and focus on simulating real life as much as possible.

Id prefer a Pass/Fail system, possibly modelled on the UK driving test where you're allowed x number of minor faults but a major fault results in an immediate fail.

A minor fault would be something like a marginal overspeed (up to say 3mph above the limit) or a poor platform spot but still all carriage doors (or the expected number) on the platform, missed horn, overly late arrival at checkpoint/station (anything over say 3 minutes late).

A major fault would be overshooting the platform completely or an overspeed over 3mph.

I fully agree with this. Didnt realise I would be penalised for wheel slip until the other day
